Herb Alpert is a musician and record producer who rose to fame in the 1960s as the leader of the Tijuana Brass, a band known for their unique blend of jazz, pop, and Latin music. One of his most well-known songs is "Rise," a single released in 1979 that became a huge commercial success, reaching the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass have had a lasting impact on popular music, and "Rise" has been covered by many artists and has been used in numerous movies and television shows... Likely you will know this from when The Notorious B.I.G sampled 'Rise' in his iconic rap hit Hypnotize.
