People often ask how my parents could lead a church while parenting four kids who never felt the desire to rebel or deconstruct. They will always say it was only by the grace of God. But I will tell people it’s because we only had one version of our mom & dad. They were the same at church as they were at home. We never felt the pressure to “put on” or perform as the pastor’s kids. And now all four of us are actively serving at our local churches and walking closely with Jesus. I’m forever grateful.
I also, along with my sister had the same experience with our parents. My parents were the same people in and out of church and the great thing is other people have the same great and fun experience with my parents now. They are very authentic and love and serve the same way.

"If God places me in a room, He will be with me to stay in the room." I heard a word this week that is confirmed by this episode. "If you are marked by God, you don't need to be marketed by man. He will find you, place you and market you."
My God is so intentional. God you always talk directly to me. How could I ever question your existence or your goodness.

First of all, I watched the whole one hour twenty-two minutes and 51 seconds of this episode glued to the screen because you was all up in my business and I thank God that you were!! God gave me a word just this week that He wants His sons and daughter to be settled in our identity. He said get settled Brittney in who I’ve created you to be and then here you come, carrying on with this blessedness!! LOL 😂 😂 thank you Father and thank you Preston! I’m going to watch it again to take notes I just had to listen the first time through. I am His daughter, I am His friend, and I am His choice!🙌🏾🙌🏾

Im rewatching this after God calling me out of my boat 🚤 and onto the waters with him 🌊. This is probably the most important Pod that I’m re-listening to this year because I’m being placed into rooms and spaces and given opportunities I think I’m not capable of doing. I hate imposter syndrome cause it’s such a lie and this pod is helping me be educated on the subject and helping me combat instead of getting played by it.

😞 this only solidifies everything I've been hearing. I've been an imposter, a hypocrite, a faker. Double minded. I've always had strong faith, or so I thought, but now I feel condemned to hell and say I'm like a lifeguard; I push others across even if it means I don't make it. I want others to come to Christ but I'm not even where I should be intimately with Him. I thought I was the same person in everything but When my prayer life is lacking I feel guilty and like I'm pretending when I tell my students and others about God's word. I feel like such a failure. I know the truth of His word but My inner world is too loud. I don't even hear Him anymore. Obeying is hard when it's scary. I guess this means my pride is in the way.

And also I most certainly will not make the same mistakes I made that got me sat down so I did learn something from that and also I will not have an orphan spirit at this church and I will Not feel like I don't belong
