OK - underholdning I think there was only one in 2005. The semi final started allready back in 1993, but wasn't broadcasted before 2004. Lots of different rules to follow with who would go directly to the final next year etc. I think they srarted with 2 semi finals in 2008 or 2009. In 2009 there was definately 2, Alexander Rybak was in the 2nd semi final....
The 2 semifinal system started in 2008, after they thought it was dumb to let 10 countries into the final no matter how bad they were just because they did well last year.

If the orchestration was a bit different in some parts (more violins and a bit less electric guitar) and a real soprano sung in, this song would have been excellent. However, it should have qualified: 1 - Switzerland 2 - Monaco 3 - SLOVENIA 4 - Croatia 5 - Serbia & Montenegro Slovenia is a very beautiful country, I live only 15 km from it. Kisses from Italy!!!

Eurovision 2005 was my first ESC and i was 10 years old in 2005
It was my first Eurovision as well, and what a lucky year to be my first one. So many amazing songs, and the nostalgy only makes them better :D

The ending hug was so cheezy... should not have done that. It spoiled the dramatic feel he was building up for all the song.
