I you haven't watched the build for this JConcepts Lakewood Corvair, check it out: • NEW BUILD! Matt's Reco... . Here it is at home in the woods like a bear on its first full-fledged trail adventure. No surprise, as this chassis & tire combination was under my FJ Landcruiser for a few years. But the new body introduces some quirks. Being so narrow, the blue station wagon can slip into tight places, and the sleek profile helps keep the centre of gravity low. But to make room for those Tusks I had to build a very stiff suspension -- the exact opposite of what I prefer -- but that's half the fun. And that air-cooled rear engine also takes some getting used to (just kidding). Let me know in the comments section. Cheers and thanks.
