The original ending was good because it ending like that (though it is good) seems incomplete without something big not happening, Lil baby boi Sora shall be missed.
We had THREE big things happen
The ending confirmed that in the future will be KH 4, where Sora is in own way to find Kairi, which is has a bit identically with Final Fantasy X Tidus and Yuna, where Yuna will awaken Tidus and bring him back home :3

Man. Just watching this and thinking back to when I was just a little boy playing the first Kingdom Hearts, the nostalgia when seeing all these characters get a happy ending on this video, I wish Nomura gave Sora a happy ending instead of having him go off to a whole different world/reality
