In this video, I'm having some goodies from a lovely off-strip restaurant, The Bacon Bar. I got Bacon Bar Burger, and it was lush, with an Angus beef patty made with ground-in bacon, tomato jam, sweet onions, horseradish cheese, and arugula. I also had a Peanut Butter and Jam Bacon Burger, with peanut butter, strawberry jam, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. I got their Special Bacon Pizza with three kinds of bacon, white garlic sauce, lemon dressed arugula, and Roma tomatoes. On the sides of these burgers, I got the seasoned fries, which were crispy and outstanding. I also got the onion rings with swine sauce, which tasted a bit like a remoulade sauce. The onion rings were battered, fresh, and crispy. For my appetizers, I got the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers, and the bacon-wrapped onion rings, and oh my WORD, they were so delicious. The jalapeno poppers especially. The bacon-wrapped onion rings were so nice and the thick-cut bacon crisp. For dessert, I got the Apple Crunch. There was much debate in the video if it was a crumble or crumb. It was neither and even had a cheesecake base when I couldn't really tell when I was eating it.. but after reading the contents again later, I was reminded of the taste. So flippin' good! I also got the Man Candy, applewood smoked, thick-cut bacon, candied and it came with a JimBeam maple reduction. Have mercy, Lord! It was amazing! If you find yourself in Las Vegas and want to try some places off-strip, Bacon Bar is definitely a treat. Thanks for watching!

I was diagnosed with cancer in January. I feel like it’s a blessing in disguise. I weighed 303 lb, the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. Today I weighed in at 199 lb. Candy, I have a serious question for you. Now, I'm not insulting you or making fun in any way, but as a nurse, I'm curious as to what you plan to do when that hip goes out completely, and you're no longer able to walk at all? Very concerning, because there's not any physicians that I know of that would willingly operate on you at your current weight, unless it was a life or death situation. I know you may say you'll cross that bridge when you come to it, but I'd cross it now and start working towards having it fixed. If you become bedbound at your size, the end results would not be good.
@@mingthemerciless12 I'm emotionally preparing myself for that probability. assisted living isn't where I want to be but i wouldn't expect my roommate to care for me. i care for myself at this point and do okay. i know it's a possibility that my hip will just give out one day, but i don't know what to do. if i attempt weight loss, more often than not, i'll end up cheating and gaining more weight. restrictive diets don't work for me. maintaining is the best i can do. Just know that it is on my mind all the time, and I am taking steps to getting myself in the mindset to lose the weight.

@@HungryFatchick It's hard, I know. I'm a food addict too. We have a channel now, and while I haven't really shown myself, I will be. I'm off work now with a bad knee, and I have to lose some weight before they'll operate on it, so even though my situation isn't as serious as yours, I too think, what if. So out of concern, I was curious. Dieting is a hard road, especially during the holidays. We've had a few slip ups ourselves, plus, I've been making sweets on our channel and my hubby has been cooking up some pretty tasty things. It's damn difficult.
@@mingthemerciless12 I am a nurse also. A doctor once told me that patients with a BMI over 50 blow out all their weight-bearing joints. Doing the calculations of 5 feet tall and 430 pounds, her BMI is 80. She'll just be wheelchair bounds w/o hip or knee replacements. Then, bed bound.
I actually like that you don't finish all of the food (I'm assuming you share it and don't waste it). If you were to eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day 6 days a week and do this 1 day a week you would lose weight! Correct, some folks don't process fat very good. Apparently, I have a lot of "good" cholesterol, and hardly any "bad". The good stuff keeps you cleaned out. I get lots of Omega 3. I eat a lot of nuts, avocados, and olive oil. My doc says I just have good genes when it comes to stuff like that though.

@@deoxized The point is that it’s a double standard. People are willingly enabling Candy to do this and it’s killing her. If she was a person with anorexia or bulimia purging food, most people would be condemning that. It doesn’t make sense because both situations are unhealthy and life threatening. The difference between Candy and some of these other heavy mukbangers is that she actually is a nice person (unlike say AmberLynn or Nikocado). Because she is nice, it makes it harder for people to wise up and alert her that what she’s doing isn’t good for her. You people claim to love her but you really don’t, because if you did you would give her loving advice. Loving advice is telling her to make better decisions, enabling unhealthy lifestyles is NOT loving in any way. I’ve lost loved ones to heart issues so I hate to see that happen to others, even if I don’t know them.

Actually we do have an idea of what she does off camera - she watches TV/netflix shows and edits youtube videos. She talks about it all the time and it's not like she's in shape to do much else. while i agree that people should stop being mean since that doesnt help in this case, God did not make anyone to be like this. this is an unhealthy way of living and can kill you, why would God want that? her weight has nothing to do with her genes or anything she cant control, no matter what genes somebody has (unless they develop some medical condition that wasnt caused by them or they have a tumor) they can still be a healthy weight. ive seen several samoans IRL that arent overweight. if you arent any type of islander which im assuming she isnt then there isnt really any excuse.
