I tried making this as honest a review as possible and the opinions I share are my own and based on my own research and experience. After 5 months of using Audiio, I am curious to see where this company place themselves in the industry in the next year. It was more about the price and seeing that it is a good investment more than any of the tracks. I work with many different projects, and music is always hard to find, their library seems good enough and the price is sweet!!

I would be interested in your opinion about the sound effects. Maybe you could make a video about those too. I subscribed for the music, but not sure yet about the sfx.
I haven't used the sound effects in any professional capacity yet but I have browsed them. For the sfx that I have browsed, they do stand in good competition in comparison to other platforms providing similar sfx products. I will definitely be making a video showcasing their sfx. As you are signed up, you can go to their sfx catalogues and explore the different sound effects to feel out whether they are appropriate for you. As the sfx are on offer with a Lifetime option at the moment, they are the best value for money right now (in my opinion). I will try get a video out in the next few weeks that explores their sfx. If you decide to go for it, I have been made aware that my discount code covers the sfx offers as well. So if you purchase them get your discount (there are other creators that are sharing their codes so you can use from any of us) xx
Great, honest review. I am comparing services and the lifetime subscription seems like a no brainer. Are you still positive in the service 17 months into use? I see they added some features you mentioned like the drop down. Has there catalog grown?
Their catalog is growing every couple of weeks. They add enough new songs in that I'd say they upload the equivalent to a good few songs per day. Overall I'm happy. Their website is sometimes slow but they have addressed that in an email to users saying they will fix that.
They have announced more features to come but I can't remember if they are confirmed or if they are in the pipeline discussion.

What do you think about today's SFX release? Also what mic/soundboard combination do you use?
To be honest, I haven't got hands-on experience with all the other platforms that offer sfx packages. But compared to the platforms I have checked out, they are up there and better than some. Considering the lifetime price, there is no contest - hands down best value for money. Have you explored the Audiio SFX yet? You can check them out before purchasing them. I'm really into their sci-fi ones right now - some of them are quite chilling :)
My mic set-up is basic: I use a Comica CVM, which I got as part of a set and I plug that into my old iPhone SE. My trick is to keep the mic close to the voice. Sometimes I use just my phone and it works well as long as it's close to my voice. If you're interested, I made a vid on that :)

do you know if they have something similar to epidemic-sound where the videos you upload during your subscription stays safe if you end the subscription?
I can’t remember exact details, but I believe yes. You can contact them and ask or check their FAQ, I’m sure you’ll get that info there. But, with the lifetime plan, it’s a once-off payment and that’s it. So you don’t cancel your subscription.
I'm a small channel, if I used their songs, does that means ads will be running my videos since their songs are clear for monetization ?

Hi Andy, I download the license for each project to keep for my own records. I have only had an issue once and the folks at Audiio fixed it for me after I sent them a message. I believe you can also put your `youtube url in your account profile so that you are kind of white-listed. There is always the risk of your video getting flagged, after which you are notified. If you used an eligible track, you just need to get in touch with audiio. I have two more videos on my channel that cover some details based on my experience. feel free to check them out :)

@@sandrarenwick1225 I understand your concerns as I had/have the same ones. I directly contacted some of the artists who work with audiio and the response is entirely positive from the artists who’s music is up. I don’t entirely understand their business model but I suspect that the long term plan is to have the artists paid per license. I think they need to acquire a substantial market share to organically grow, which is why they are still offering the lifetime option. But interestingly, it’s the lifetime offer that has people a little weary, understandably. All I can say is that I am very happy with the music, the artists seem to be happy and their partner program is growing. Beyond that I don’t know much, but have decided to go for it :)
Before you financially commit you can listen to their music and get a feel for the platform before paying, so maybe do that :)

I think so, yes. On their site, you can contact them to confirm this. They are responsive and helpful.
Any idea how much the musicians that create the content get payed? No one mentions this. As creative people, i feel we should think about the integrity of the platform towards our fellow artists at least. What are your thoughts?
I messaged three artists while planning this video. Only one replied and he said is very happy. Beyond that I cannot share more, because I do not know the financial details as it pertains to the artists. As far as the consumer goes, I think we can do our bit by acknowledging artists in credits of our personal projects that we post. From my very limited perspective, I'd imagine that these types of platforms might assist artists in their pursuits of commercial recognition. Not all artists want to sign to labels, but without labels it becomes expensive to find reach and to have your music used in a commercial context.
