I've seen a lot of cancer in my family... Last year, my uncle was diagnosed with end-stage. He chose NOT to find out how much time he has. He's spent the last few months, going strong. Having family dinners, playing with his grandkids, talking to his beloved wife. I have a video of him dancing with my mother at a party to 50's music.... I don't know what I'd feel if I knew my time was almost up... ❤

To the first comment… I remember getting a call late one night that my son Drake, my sister, her son and my mom ALL got into a accident. They couldn’t find my son he was ejected from my sister truck. I had to drive 4 hours to get to the hospital where they all were ONLY to find out that my son was airlifted to another hospital in Denver. So yes it’s very heart breaking to get a phone call about your kids at ANY age❤

I guess we’re assuming that your son passed away, did he? If he did I’m so very sorry for your loss. Losing your child is the worst thing that I could ever imagine a parent to go through and I am truly truly sorry if he did pass away.😔🩷

Gosh. Hard enough to get a call that your child has died in a car accident or something… but to hear they died of cancer you didn’t know they had… 😢😢

Oh man this is deep, I can't believe he dosent want his family or friends around when he gose, I know he probably wants to spare them the pain but even if they are in the hospital or not it won't make it any less painful

Facts. It’ll be more lovely and scary in my opinion. I mean it hurts to see family hurt. I watched my parents and when I was on life support by my bedside. They never left my side. 😢. I almost didn’t make it. I had sepsis and MRSA. I went into multi organ failure but made a mostly full recovery but it was a while before I did. Long road

Nobody should ever have to watch their loved ones suffer and die from cancer. The toll it takes is unbearable. Speaking solely on experience here.

It is sad to lose someone, and the younger ones should never go first, it is unnatural, but sometimes it happens, and it is way more painful for the elders than for the younger ones; what people should understand is that this situation has 2 faces like a coin, depending of which side you are looking at. As a parent i would endure any pain to be with my child until the last moment, I would not lose hope I will not fall apart until my child is gone; but if I am the child I will never I will never subject my family to that pain, I rather go away, and die alone away from them it will be painful for them, when they'll find out, but they will not see me while I am in pain, "out of sight out of mind".

He didn't think this through. In a couple of months, he would be too sick to do anything and either have to come home and his parents would find out anyway or off himself before they found out.

I'm going to bed 🛏️ and i probably won't be able to wake up i wanna die in my sleep like my first grandfather did since he was in his 60s as well and my grandfather has had Parkinson's disease and i don't have any Parkinson's.
I wonder if i can will myself to die in my sleep without any more pain. But my stupid bladder doesn't want me to sleep longer than 2 hours before i had to get up to go to the bathroom and then go back to sleep again until next 2 hours and i never can get full 8 hours of sleep without any uninterrupted bathroom break before daybreak.

That sounds pretty awful dying alone on a side of a mountain. 😢 something a 18 year old would probably regret later on. Not fully matured all the way and fully developed tell 21-23 so yeah, he would be acting impulsively. He would likely be in brutal pain and no pain meds and it sounds miserable Glad in this he choose family. There so many people who don’t have family and die alone😦🥲

What does psychiatrist for refers to as magical thinking in many instances I referred to as FAITH!!!! by the way I’m a registered nurse at 36 years I’ve only seen a handful of people that were truly narcissistic that term gets thrown around a lot nowadays if you’re overconfident which a lot of people are if you’re act arrogant if you’re smart or if you don’t put up with their crap they wanna refer you as narcissistic therefore I say the term is a joke.

I rather die alone with my truck crushing my head like a grapefruit and i don't like feeling any more pain in my legs and shoulders and foot of gout arthritis have been ruining my life at age 60 years old in 2024 i never had any public schools highschool girlfriends and no adults single biological female women girlfriends to date since I was too busy with taking care of my great grandparents and first grandparents and my mom has had Alzheimer's memory loss and I'm still alone at my mom's house just waiting to die off very very soon as possible since i have lost soo many family members and friends to Cancer and accident cars and trucks and i have had survived falling off 2 stories mom's house while trying to scaping off moss and ice off house and roll on my back on ground without any damages to my body but i found out that my neighbor Saw me roll around without hurting myself since i really don't remember how i fall off roof and how did i land on grass ground without any damages and i don't remember if i gotten up walking around and i don't remember being at the major hospital during my public schools kindergarten through highschool without any broken bones. I wished I could remember what happened to me on the roof 30 feet in the air and why i have no body and head damage at ages 18 years old and 24 years old during winter time my mom was at work and my grandparents was somewhere else i don't remember. I'm very tired of living with arthritis swelling feets and knees and shoulders i really don't wanna be alive anymore.
