Finally something extraordinary! At first I thought what is this?! Should I continue watching, but scene after scene amazed me more and more. Fantastic script, comedic, philosophical and debauched - surreal. I'm happy because I saw something different than what I've seen before. I recommend it.

I'm a huge Lanthimos fan, but this looks absolutely wretched. Dogtooth, The Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer: these were all brilliant surreal satires about society and human emotions.... this POS looks like a Dresden Dolls video or a SyFy channel movie from the 1990s🤦♂

That's a fair take but I'd recommend watching other Yorgos Lanthimos films to gauge what he usually tries to express and do with his films. Or perhaps you've seen all of his movies in which case there's not a lot I can say.

La figura disfugurada del padre, la referencia a un tranvía llamado deseo de Tennesse Williams, la malsana idea de convertir el cádaver/imagen de una esposa en el de la hija, como suele suceder producto del duelo o pérdida, y hay un montón de elementos más, que vuelvo y digo, en la presentación de este trailer me parecen un absurdo más, ojo, no me refiero a la película sino a este trailer, que para no vale la pena interpretar, me parece un sin sentido, un montón de imágenes que nada invitan más allá del nombre de su director.
Habría que esperar cómo resulta la película para dar una opinión franca.

This look incredible. The originality and attention to detail of costumes, production design, cinematography, and score just in this trailer alone are incredible.

Things that ensure a bad movie, in my opinion, are unoriginal storylines - this is clearly just a Frankenstein remake w a female lead - copycat directing - which looks like a mediocre rip off of Wes Anderson - and poor acting - this seems like a satire of the over acting that was popular in the 20th century. This feels like we’re watching a great actors in a sci fi sitcom from the 1950s. No thanks.

A reimagining of a classic story is a perfect way to inject originality into stale stories. As for the directing, you clearly haven't seen Yorgos Lanthimos films if you think this is anything but a wholly singular vision from his brain. And the acting is great, totally campy in the best way, another Hallmark of Lanthimos' stylized filmography.
Emma Stone is a terrible actress. The Oscars are officially dead. Her facial expressions are amateurish. Worst performance I've seen in a long while.
