  • In January we reported that they were renovating Poseidons Avenue in from the Almyra Hotel down to the Sea Front. In this film we return to the scene to see what progress has been made in the last three months. The good news is the road itself is pretty much finished, along with one side of the pedestrian area. The work is now concentrating on the section that is being landscaped. Come and have a look...

    ►Help For Travellers
If you are travelling around Paphos and would like some hints about where to go, take a look at our eBook Travel Guides.
    ▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

▬ Paphos Coast To Coast ▬
Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

▬ Kato and Pano Pyrgos ▬
Do you want to see a part of Cyprus that is loved by the locals but virtually unkown to international tourists? Then let me take you on a trip to Kato and Pano Pyrgos. Located on the North Coast of Cyprus, and on the coast road from Polis and Pomos, these two villages are packed full of charm and some lovely beaches. Throw in some abandoned villages and beautiful countryside, and you have all the makings of a fantastic day out. In this guide we show you how to get there from Paphos and Polis, before taking you on a tour of the area itself

▬ The North Paphos Coast ▬
The North Coast of Paphos is one of Cyprus' hidden gems. In this, our fourth Cyprus Road Trip eBook, we explore the area between Polis and Pachyammos. This includes the delightful Pomos Harbour, the mysterious Dragon Cave Beach, and the ancient Gialia Monastery. Not to mention numerous villages, churches and reservoirs. So come with us and experience a slice of authentic Cyprus life.

▬ Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni ▬
The East of Cyprus is famous for its sandy beaches and party lifestyle, but there is so much more to it than that. In this road trip we take you around Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni. We also visit Cape Greco and numerous beaches along the way, as well as other interesting attractions. We even have time to take in the new Marina. The route is circular, beginning and ending at the Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa. If you are based in Protaras or Paralimni you can start in those towns and jump to the appropriate point. We do however recommend coming to the Sculpture Park and starting there, as it is best viewed either in the morning or evening.

We were there last week and the renovations were great to see happening and did not affect our enjoyment whatsoever. We are regular visitors who are counting down the years until we can retire there!

We visit twice a year and have seen the renovations making the place look much better. We are here at the moment enjoying our latest 2 weeks and anyone who watched that video needs to ignore what he said as he was trying to look for anything that was negative for whatever reason.

yeh i seen that silly vid, what he didnt get is they doing all this work for the tourists and the people of cyprus. cyprus has a government that at least does things to better peoples lifes (unlike my country lol) cyprus is a beautiful country and really nice people.
i came up with a slogan for cyprus, "Cyprus is a place where everyone has a big smile, a great story and a good heart"

I am sure it will be great when it is finished.
I am old enough to remember Mr. Ben. Our youngest son Ben wondered why we used to call him that when he was young. Now we call him Big Ben as he is 6ft 4" tall!😃

Yep his video is a disgrace holiday from hell. Just one of his usual clickbait vlogs , but I was disappointed to read some.people saying " thx I'll stay away". So keep up the good vids that reflect the real Paphos.
