My mom met him as he wass in recovery for herion. She was visiting my grandma who was in a program after her last stint of 7 years in prison, she had to complete a program after before parole or some shit. He manipulated and abuses the most honest and loving people woman I’ve ever met. Honest to God. Had 3 kids, stomped on her neck when she wouldn’t take a abortion pill to kill me. She covered her stomach so he took boots to her neck. Took every car my mom bought as he never worked a day in his life. Left us homeless. Owed 52 g in child support. He had an affair on my mother. JUST A SMALL BIT OF INFO, But I said this cause I see my mom as my dad too! And man this song broke me down like nothing ever has come close to. My mom is still alive and will be much longer God willing !! oh God this poor man, that grief so carefully hidden underneath a wispy gauze. It never goes away, you just slowly build your gauze into a sturdier cloth. Still, it is only cloth and can be stripped off with a resonate situation. For most, it is music and I am so sorry you had this happen to you in front of so many strangers. My father dipped out of my brother and I lives when we were really young, around 10/11, and never contacted us again. Then in 08, over a decade later, his family contacted us letting us know he passed away. He was only 50 and had pretty much cut everyone out of his life, so much so that he wasn't found until 3 months after his passing. When we found I felt more disappointed than anything and then guilty I couldn't find it in me to be more sad. I was shocked my brother though was more angry than sad though, maybe it's different for a son than a daughter in this situation. Even though I never felt this way with my father like Blunt does in this song I still cry every time since it reminds me of my grandma when she passed. She helped my mom raise us from the time we were toddlers and I was there in the hospital room with mom when she passed. Even though it's been nearly 20 years I vividly remember grasping her hand and arm wishing that death rattle I heard in her chest as her mouth hung open gasping for air would just stop and she would just sit up and want to go to craft show or the casino again...then it stopped and she was gone. I couldn't say a word or make a sound but my mom made this awful, gut wrenching howl of pain of a new orphan that broke my heart but I could not let go of my grandma's hand to hug her. It was still slightly warm and I thought if I let go then she would be completely cold and gone. It was not my first painful death in my family but it was the closest and my first, and only, experience of witnessing someone die and now that my mom is pass the age that her dad died and inching closer to the age grandma was when she died I wonder if I will have to do it again in the near future as her health gets worse and worse. How much longer until I am the orphan wailing at my mother's bedside? I try not to think about it too much though. I try to keep her active and happy by taking her to book festivals, gem shows, and even animal expos. Anything she may like to do and my work schedule can accommodate. My brother and I even pooled our resources together to move her and us to a warmer state so she wasn't in so much pain and now we all live together again so she doesn’t have to work. I hope we have many more years together, even though I have to admit that sometimes my brother can drive me up the wall.

oh God this poor man, that grief so carefully hidden underneath a wispy gauze. It never goes away, you just slowly build your gauze into a sturdier cloth. Still, it is only cloth and can be stripped off with a resonate situation. For most, it is music and I am so sorry you had this happen to you in front of so many strangers. Thank goodness they are being kind and understanding, hopefully you can build strength from them. My thoughts are with you.
My father dipped out of my brother and I lives when we were really young, around 10/11, and never contacted us again. Then in 08, over a decade later, his family contacted us letting us know he passed away. He was only 50 and had pretty much cut everyone out of his life, so much so that he wasn't found until 3 months after his passing. When we found I felt more disappointed than anything and then guilty I couldn't find it in me to be more sad. I was shocked my brother though was more angry than sad though, maybe it's different for a son than a daughter in this situation.
Even though I never felt this way with my father like Blunt does in this song I still cry every time since it reminds me of my grandma when she passed. She helped my mom raise us from the time we were toddlers and I was there in the hospital room with mom when she passed. Even though it's been nearly 20 years I vividly remember grasping her hand and arm wishing that death rattle I heard in her chest as her mouth hung open gasping for air would just stop and she would just sit up and want to go to craft show or the casino again...then it stopped and she was gone. I couldn't say a word or make a sound but my mom made this awful, gut wrenching howl of pain of a new orphan that broke my heart but I could not let go of my grandma's hand to hug her. It was still slightly warm and I thought if I let go then she would be completely cold and gone. It was not my first painful death in my family but it was the closest and my first, and only, experience of witnessing someone die and now that my mom is pass the age that her dad died and inching closer to the age grandma was when she died I wonder if I will have to do it again in the near future as her health gets worse and worse. How much longer until I am the orphan wailing at my mother's bedside?
I try not to think about it too much though. I try to keep her active and happy by taking her to book festivals, gem shows, and even animal expos. Anything she may like to do and my work schedule can accommodate. My brother and I even pooled our resources together to move her and us to a warmer state so she wasn't in so much pain and now we all live together again so she doesn’t have to work. I hope we have many more years together, even though I have to admit that sometimes my brother can drive me up the wall.
