Yone is, in my opinion, the perfect example of what's wrong with the game of late. Mobility, Cc, Sustain, Shield, Mixed Damage, Immunity to CC. He didn't need all that to be effective at what he does, but they gave it to him anyway.
You forgot: No mana/energy.
He got way too many CC and his ult is still op if it’s a root or slow instead of stun.

Agree, having 3 dashes, 2 knock ups, shield and etc! is too much
OK so Yone has a strong ass shield, healing, one of the longest and most reliable diving/all-in skills in the whole game, tons of burst dmg and a CC just to top if off. And you actually need to change your whole game plan, map awareness and gank strategies and mobilize 2~3 teammates just to try and slow down a SINGLE champion? I can't see how this is balanced

No idea why Yone get that crazy dive on top of his burst and CC. He has 2 stun man as same level as Leona.

@@mahzabinnaruse7642 hey good news: yasuo players suffer from something called yasuo syndrome. it involves decreased brainpower, stunted brain development, etc. typically induced via drinking alcohol during pregnancy, or using other harmful substances like crack.
this means that even though they're using yasuo (ew) they're going to feed you and throw the entire game.
what i've understand, you need to be 2-3v1 for kill Yone, that's a great counter play :'D
bro you just go counters to yone, like garen or darius or irelia. Just a few examples here, after that it's a skill matchup

Is it just me or did this sound like:
Buy 20 items just to counter him
Ur Champ has to be able to win early lane vs him (who has Sustain, Mobility, Dps, Mixed Dmg, Waveclear)
and ur Teamcomp has to be good (peel/cc wise)
and ur team has to avoid CQ's
So essentially, if my Champ isnt Op in the early and My team lacks peel, i should dodge

Yone early is too good in compare to other assassin such as Fizz.
Yone has amazing late which out shallow many late champs without suffer too much early lane.

Yea these early Yone play vids are always so slow. Meanwhile in my games Yonex is at his tower and I'm at mine, then suddenly pre 6 he has somehow arrived ontop of me in .5 seconds and I'm already almost dead. 10/10 would perma ban but sylas just as bad

@@nejihiashi He is squishy? Immortal shieldbow and his W give him insane shields and he has high lifesteal. His damage spread prevents you from buying Armor/Mr effectively as you need both against him. He is CC immune with his E und his ultimate. Grievous Wounds is a joke right now, its effectively useless for the gold it costs
@@nejihiashi literally every ‘counter’ you listed here works for every champ in the game. Except for grevious wounds, which doesn’t do shit. Thank god he’s only healing for 40% of his total healing now, that’s only 500hp per auto instead of 1300hp per auto!

as a main Sett and Yone, Sett has no way to counter Yone since Sett is lack of mobility and range. As long as Yone keeps the distance outside of Sett's E and freeze lane. Sett just loses.

I wouldnt mind this champ so much but his E is just insane. a free mini ekko ult on cool down that lets him one shot you under your own tower then teleport all the way back to his own tower. I wouldnt mind his free double knock up combo if this ability at least wasnt able to be re cast on command.
I get it riot tries to give players a 2nd chance but most of the games I make this donnie 0/5/0 and a few minutes later he is able to 1v4 our whole team like imagine losing lane to this champ then the game is basically over. I'm a plat player and I know literally everything you mentioned but how do you stop this champion midgame when it matters the most???

Not me watching this video after getting a five lose streak with an enemy yone.
What I learned for this video (in short summary):
1. You usually need 3 champs to kill Yone.
2. Don't get even remotely close after his level 6 or he will R you all.
3. Ban balance-broker on the first place.
I find that #3 is best logical tactic over all. In the end, I'm not worried about counter pick, I'm worried about champ that you can roll your head on keyboard and win. Also, this video really showed nothing that is not generally know (even by a relative newbies), nor there is good tactic about taking it down. Not trying to be dick here, but this video is kinda useless. Not that I blame Mobalytics, since Yone is the problem in its core.
how do i exactly punish him after his E - Q - W - E ?
i was playing as oriana and what usually happened is that hi traveled 70% of the lane then i dodged his Q , when trying to deal him dmg back he mitigated most of it with shield from W and healing and then E goes back and i have lost half my hp... even when i do respect his Q losing farm in the process, EVEN if he misses his Q he still close and personal due to the huge amount of travel distance he covers and he gets free autos and W before going back to safety...
and when i am playin as a high CC tank like leona.... i find it so damn hard to itemize against him..... correct me if i am wrong but... he deals both physical and magic dmg, both true and max health dmg and has both shielding and healing onto his kit while also having 100% crit rate with additional crit dmg thx to infinity.
how do i exactly itemize against that? build a mix of armour and magic resist, but also anti-crit and anti-healing and yet he still deals partially max health and true dmg i NEVER felt like i can defend against that....
Champ is broken, everyone knows that, at EVERY single elo/league. Even Yone mains know he's broken. The only way to stop the suffering is to simply ban him every game. At least YOU and your team won't have to deal with that abomination in your games, until Riot decides to finally nerf into oblivion that edgy anime protagonist with his plot armor.

Play near tower, both windshitter bros love taking tower hits. Also, Malz. Force the windshitters to build an expensive qss, this delaying life steal or build normal and get ulted over and over.

Yone cant really be countered in my opinion the same way as a typical assassin, meaning cc. Even with quite a bit of cc and grievous wounds applied yone still typically outheals and out damages in late game team fights. It is rare to have a team so coordinated that they protect the carry and don't get hit by a big yone ultimate. It is nearly impossible to out trade yone in lane as well because once he has vamp scepter he heals so much and can take non committal trades with massive damage every time e is up. He is very difficult to play into and even when you end up laning perfectly denying him cs, xp, and kills. He still scales so well that he becomes a true menace mid to late game.

yup, pretty much. Potentially the most broken ability and concept in this entire game.

his entire trade pattern is... insufferable.
you cant dodge his Q1 or Q2 in meele range or close range.
with his W he can avoid short trades by shielding most of your damage and often times outdamage you, unless you have renekton level of short trade damage
and with Q3 into W with his E in the backline you have a chance to dodge it, but not if you want to counterhit him
I have yet to find anything i can exploit in his pattern. It is incredibly easy to predict. Everyone knows what yone wants to do. but what can you do to stop it?

Poking yone early doesn't work due to him having a million ways to instantly close the gap early. Not to mention the fact that he deals so much damage, he can basically just ignore turret damage when he dives your ass and gets away with it

Yones problem is that he can miss all his main damage abilities use his E and out trader majority of who he goes against by autoing them with no fear of punishment to cc. I love how y’all say cc him in his e but any good yone will just press e as your cc is about to hit and he ignores it. Even if it collides ; he gets to outclass a good amount of champs he goes against simply by have the safety nets he has built into his kit even against champions who should dominate him in laning like azir as long as they don’t walk into his range.
even worse for me is, how you are punished for trading while his E is active as his True damage burst will be bigger and bigger if you try to get to his E spot, so what can you punish
there is no counter to Yone. Even if you stomp the lane by numerous ganks, he'll one shoot you later on.
There is no counterplay, there is no safe range to poke. The only way to beat Yone is if he's stupid and jumps on the tank for some reason, then you might - in the best case - CC and kill him fast enough
i think a good nerf at least would be to remove the fact that he deals mixed dmg. cuz its unfair that u have to build both armor AND MR against him :/
Dude u just told me what i know and I am silver. That means that he need BIG nerf. Best nerf would be to him mobility (e), because he can go with his e from his tower to enemy tower using empowered q and r while in e. He has no counter if you play him at least on an A grade.
E Q3 is the most predictable combo for a Yone, jump on him when he is out of it, play someone like Darius, Sett or Pantheon

This is like reading a horoscope, all general stuff that tells you little to nothing on how to deal with him really. Half this stuff does not help against him on lane as most champ in most situations or can be answered by even the most basic yone player
Lets not forget he gets to have ghost level speed on his E ontop of everything else

I hate the fact that the only counterplay for him is to have half of your team on him, I usually get junglers that ignore mid/top for most of the game so im always in a perpetual 1v1 against the paralysis anime demon
Played one for thr first time today. Brutal as a Jhin adc to have this guy just kill me and retreat.
The most frustrating thing is that when he gets on top of you then he just goes cc cc cc then death. most of the time you can't even do anything and he just annihlates you. deletes tower and snowballs.

soraka is suprisingly strong, lingering crowd crowdcontroll can screw over her leaving her carry
for the same reason blitzcrank or pyke, if she has noowhere to run she is a sitting duck
nautilus for the same reasons
in lane push her in hard, she cant help lasthit without leaving her carry, which makes her vulnerable
also as other said, hard engage. she can only heal once every so often, so just kill the carry between heal.
for non support midgame things like tristana, to split her and her carry from the team to force her to stay on the carry is decent
so is gragas or hecarim. Mordekaiser just straight up dismounts her with R.

Antiheal? Splitpush, as they are lacking a player. Sivir or anivia level of safe waveclear can help a lot to delay the fed host to clear up.

I don't care what meta it is, I permaban Blitzcrank. You can take cleanse to remove CC from Thresh, Nautilus, Leona, Rell, etc. There's no counterplay to getting grabbed and it usually means death.
I like to ban blitz but i ban nasus since he is so easy to get strong with and in low elo people always let him scale
sidestep? his hook is slow and easily telegraphed, and after he has used it he cant do anything for the next 15 seconds.

As a yone player, shove and abuse him early. Make him take bad backs, most don’t run tp. Roam when you shove, help your jungler get scuttle, make plays around the map. Champions that counter him hard are Zed and Annie, but you don’t need to counter if you shove and roam. He has an even harder time in top lane, freezing the lane really screws him over and he has a ton of bad matchups top.
but what if your champ is bas at early and cant shove and roam?

The trick is to back off when his Q3 and E are up. When he comes at you with those two spells, try to hit him with your E as far away from you as possible. If you hit him close to you, you're still gonna get knocked up and lose the trade. Once you hit E, throw Q, W and run away. Safe your ult for escaping his ult.
I may also reccomend Lux against him
No, Yone has beaten my counterplay of dodging his picks. I ban Fizz every-time I am mid and dodge Yone picks.

Like Yasuo, if Yone's strength is gap closing and close combat then get someone else that can match or overtake his strength.
If you want a niche pick against him play assassins like zed, talon, akali etc.
Viego and Sylas are your skirmisher picks. Unorthodox picks like Tryndamere and Nasus mid can make life hell for him.
As a Yone player, it makes us feel nervous charging in with E.
Play mages if you want, but many control/battle mages have to play carefully or else it's over.
Lmao, this champ is so overturned it's insane.. As a fed master yi with fuckin shieldbow, a 1/5 Yone was able to one shot combo me when I had an item advantage.. Randuins didnt help either. Abusing him early doesnt matter when he can get 2 fuckin items and nuke your damage dealers without any consequences.

Aoe zed ult. Also kayn's E but kayn has counter play. You dodge W and Q and he is stuck waiting for them. But yone? He can aa and do 1k true dmg on his way back to safety.

Sylas works well into yone. If he ever uses e just dodge with ur e abd and tgen go ham. 2nd e+q+w then fast passive procs and foff while he tries to retaliate but can't bc he wasted his charged q. I defeated yone with that only twice so far and one of that games was lost anyway. But I always pick sylas into yone now.
It’s a skill matchup in favor of yone, sylas cant use yones ult very well, and yone usually scales faster

Riot must damn reduce his E for real, the video and comments with no joke speaking - ban him or never die, because he even on 1/5/0 KDA can kill ur 8/2/4 jungle in 4 seconds.
And this is, for real, the only one champ, who can do penta and then all ur team push surrender, cause u can`t counterplay him once he was fed.
