12th anniversary Delta Veterans day Celebration 2023 at Atlanta International Airport 🛫
Over 40+ planes and helicopters from Navy , US Air Force, ANG, Army, Coastguard, and more. Delta honors our veterans on this big event.
Every November, the civilian passenger jets and the din of meticulous metal-on-metal maintenance that fills Delta’s TechOps hangar gives way to a massive transformation: An annual event honoring veterans, with everything from scrappy vintage fighters to modern behemoths like the C-130 Hercules filling the space for admiring onlookers.
While the aircraft were an attraction, Delta’s veterans themselves were the main event. “We’re gathered here today to celebrate our heroes - the people who have fought, protected and served our country so proudly,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said in remarks to a gathered crowd. “This is our opportunity to thank you for what you do.”

Seeing two T-45s, and a single T-44 Pegasus at this air show, is quite a unique catch, my friend! Also, that hanger where they put all of the participating aircraft must be huge, if a C-130, a C-47, and a PBY-5A can all fit in it, with room to spare!
