- I saw a video based on either Pixar or Marvel villains being charged for their crimes a bit back, so I decided to make one based off of Wings of Fire! And of course, who better to do than Albatross and Darkstalker, two of the most evil dragons in the series?

As promised, here is my explanation for where I've been.
At the start of the summer, I was hit by an immense wave of art block. Doing artfight in July helped me get over it, and by early august I was ready to make videos again. However, I wanted to make a content plan first, so if I could prevent future burnout/art block.
I've also been working on college stuff. I'm in my final year of High School, so I don't have much time to start applying to places. I also got a job, part time, which took up my summer evenings, but my hours seem to be stabilizing now.
However, I think I've gotten a much better work-school-fun balance, and I hope that I'll be able to keep on working on this channel for a long time to come.
Also - I showed the definition for criminal insanity after saying "diminished responsibility". Criminal insanity is a type of diminished responsibility, but they are not the same thing. Woops!!

The only thing I can immediately think of was that Albatross was a young child when he mutilated Sapphire if I remember correctly, and it was an accident - he didn’t realize it would happen, and he was being bullied. I think his charges would be different as it being an accident and on account of him being a minor.
I was absolutely giggling looking at the sentence Darkstalker racked up, though, and I’m certain that’s not even all of it.
If alabatross was under 10 years of age when he did so in some specific states he whould not be charged, and some other areas aswell.

Yes. It is at least bioterrorism, as blood is a substance that is considered to be a hazardous bodily fluid. It would also be pollution.

I feel like enchanting someone to stop loving someone is one of the worst thing Darkstalker has done. But anyways, great video! I should do something like this for the book I wrote.
The main character, Deepshade, is confirmed to have killed 1,209 people over 12 years of being an assassin. Oddly specific, I know, but a time-travelling dragon-god was keeping track. Anyways, that's at least 18,135 years in prison, and at most, 30,225 years, using the american legal system. Of course, the dragons would have just sentenced him to death, as they do with all murderers, but yeah. 30,225 years is a long time.

I mean weren't just his scales invulnerable? technically some other kind of harm that doesn't involve his scales should work (unless he enchanted his entire self to be invulnerable after kinkajou spit venom on his eye)

If he only enchanted his scales to be invulnerable,there are a lot of ways that can kill him bypassing his invulnerability,like blunt force trauma that can cause internal bleeding without needing to hurt the scales and suffocation and many ways

i kinda liked arctics death. i know this sounds like im a pyhscopath, but let me exsplain. arctics death made the book more dramatic, and it was more violent, so therefor more sutibale for the main audince (which i would say is around years of 13 to 20).

morrowseer and the dragonet guardians as a whole. they arent exactly villains, but they did kidnap dragonets, and techincally child abuse for locking tsunami up and planning to kill glory. also, morrowseer was planning to steal others property. (the rainwings territory) and trespassing on the rainwing territory.
queen diamond. she killed foeslayer 40 times. she probaly also has some law breaking.
queen scarlet. she kidnapped the dragonets, killed many dragons, forced peril to kill dragons, manuplated peril, child abuse (she tried to kill peril and sky, so i would say that counts). made peril kill dragonets that werent hatched.
Arctics death was one of my favorite moments to read.

About the Guardinans:
I'm not sure about Kidnapping (ironically) since they weren't hached yet, they would count as a fetus (what is the plural for that), for wich there are different laws (I think, sorry not an American) and kidnapping isn't among them, since you couldn't do so in the real world...
You could probably do false imprisonment.
Also medical neglect for keeping them away from thier elements and preventing thier powers from working properly
The Battletraining they never wanted is probably assault, same as chaining Tsunami up

We later learn that Kestrel used to hit Glory for no reason, so even more assault
Her just leaving them after escaping from Scarlet is probably child neglect
Also Webs deserted during a batlle
He also Druged 2 Guards, wich is probably poisening

Although that was during active wartime, and we don't typically persecute soldiers for killing enemy soldiers during battle

Also I don't think Orca would actually get any criminal charges considering she herself didn't kill the eggs, she could maybe be charged for attempted murder, but she also died before the statue started crushing the eggs lol. Also giving murder charges for breaking eggs assumes that the fetus inside the egg would be counted as a person, which is a... whole other issue

It’s Albatross. To be fair, the literal only differences between their designs are the eyes, webs, glow colors, and (sometimes) eye bags. The lighting definitely did not help.

(debatable, but nonconsensually turning Fierceteeth (7 or 8) into Clearsight (6 when he last saw her) does NOT look good for a 2000 year old guy who has been concious for 10 dragon years, he went to sleep when he was 6 and woke up when moon, 4 in her book, was born)

@@snakewithapen5489 It is pedofilia but also technically not. Fierceteeth was 7-8, making her an adult by dragon aging standards, however, she is technically no though because Nightwings aren't allowed to leave the island at ten so idk. Also, Moon was 4 in her book.

I think enchanting turtles Powers away count have either mutilation or assault same with turning vulture into a baby.
We're also forgetting about clearsight earrings that's probably yet more conversion.

Also I'm not sure if you're raising people's memories counts as coercion or assault but that also happened several times.

Also, i don't know exactly what kind of charge it would be, but I feel like the Albatross ghost he sent to terrorize the SeaWings during book 10 would be some kinda crime. Not that dude is having fun with the already 3000+ year sentence lol

When she attacked the Skywing she was Defending Sunny (we don't know if he saw her, but as this video said a soilder is always a threat)
Her attaking Wirlpool was obviesly self-defense
So was the Statue she dammaged (can you have property destruction in self-defence?)
Granted she resited law enforcement when the seawings locked them up (I don't know if you can count that for the Skywings, since she isn't Scarlet's subject)
Breaking out of Prison isn't a crime by istself (and she didn't dammage anything or harm anyone in the Process)
The Skywings and Blister she attacked on the way out also were self-defence
Book 3:
Maybe being loud during Suntime? (I don't know the english word for that charge)
Book 4:
The Nightwings that treid to kidnap her were self-defence
not sure if she did anything during the battle against the nightwings, but a preventive war is allowed and they had evidence that the nightwings were about to attack

we heard about nothing from her
Book 8:
You could say attemted murder against Scarlet, maybe even attemted regicide, since Scarlet maybe tecnically was still queen of the Skywings and she wasn't a direct threat to anyone at that time. BUT they were on jade Mountain, where you could call Tsunami law enforcement and Scarlet just literally threw evidence of her murder along with a confession for the same at her, giving Tsunami every right to arrest Scarlet and there is no proof she planed on doing something else.
Book 9:
nothing again

so as far as I can tell she potentially gets 1 Assault and mabe 1 attemted murder. Also she is for at least the first a minor (not sure when she turned 7).
@enderskunk7515 I would consider most of glory's kills to fall under self-defense. She wasn't responsible for the volcano exploding, and still offered asylum to some nightwing refugees despite their acts against her tribe (kidnapping, experimentation etc). Unless I'm missing a kill in the later books that wasn't self defense, which is entirely possible.
EDIT: I just looked it up and saw she also killed Crocodile, but I'd also say that was self defense bc Crocodile was leading the skywing army in an attack on the seawing palace, and confronted the dragonets with the soldiers.
However she definitely COULD be tried for killing Fjord, but she did that when she was still a minor so she'd probably get a lighter sentence, and she did it to save the life of Clay. It wouldn't be self defense because she wasn't in the arena herself, but there are mitigating factors.
I think her biggest crimes would be battery (attacking scarlet unprovoked, although she did do it to save her friends) and perhaps espionage by trespassing in the nightwing kingdom in secret. Also ig maybe obstruction of justice bc she just let Deathbringer get away with attempted murder lol

about deathbringer: she didn't obstruct anything, she just didn't hold him herself. I don't think you can be charged for doing nothing in that situation.
@enderskunk7515 True, attacking scarlet could be considered to fall under the duress defense. And yes, sometimes (law officers are often exempt from this) you can in fact be charged at the 2nd degree for killing to defend someone else, however she could definitely put up a good defense and the jury may not convict because of that mitigating circumstance. And at the very least I think it could be considered an abuse of power, since she IS the queen, and she did put other nightwings that abused her tribe in jail (Mastermind, Fierceteeth etc). Though I suppose you could argue that she also had the power as queen to grant him an official pardon lol, which is probably how that would pan out
