Wow, this is a fantastic performance and very fine interpretation. There were a couple surprises - "Quis es homo" was daringly brisk! - but I'd have been very proud to part of this concert. I understand that the students in COGE aren't from conservatories but from science and business schools. What I'm hearing is intelligent and precise amateur singing with an evident bloom of early adulthood, and the score is quite well served. Also, Madame Raison seems born to do the solo parts, with sufficient power in the middle and bottom like Regine Crespin, a beloved interpreter of this piece. All best wishes from Washington DC USA!
