That's why he pretty much did all his shows overseas starting with the Dangerous Tour because the overseas fanbase never turned their backs on him for anything. The American people downed him, criticized him and made his life a living hell in the U.S. Also, that's why right after the trial in 2005, when he was found not guilty, he moved to a cottage in Ireland or some place like that. He lived over there till he died.

Later that month, I saw him and his brothers in concert at Dodger Stadium. It was the Victory Tour. I remember that the concert was rain-delayed. I was on the nose bleed section. I took binoculars to watch the concert. This is before concerts had huge screens to watch if you were sitting far away. Somewhere, I know I have the ticket stub. I was 22. God, I feel old now. 😆
