- In Sept 2023, my friends and I took a trip to Panama and stayed at RIU Playa Blanca. In this video I talk about my experience at this resort and what I thought about it.
Please keep in mind, this was my experience here, yours may be different! I try not to complain or talk bad, but at the same time, I do like to be honest on what I thought. :)

Dang I was considering this place for our boys trip in February. Maybe we reconsider. Thanks! How was the party scene at the swim up bar?
It was pretty busy at the swim up bar everyday and they played music as well. It was never very "rowdy" while we were there, but def people having a good time. We stayed in the adults only pool, so i can't really comment on how it was at the other pools other than there were a lot of kids lol

@@KyleBrewington not at all! LOL it was a different video of mine, so could have happened to anyone! I created a resort tour video and a review video, so if you were just searching for videos on this resort you probably randomly came across both at different times lol

Hey! What other excursions were there that you would recommend ? I was looking at the Anton valley tour but that is part of the Sunwing tours.
I'll be honest, I cant really remember what else was offered aside from the one I did (to monkey island and Panama canal). But at the resort, they do have a booth you can go to in the lobby that has a book you can look through of everything they offer & you can book it onsite.

@@prakritisharma9619 we had 6 people in our group and it was $95 per person. So i think they kind of base it on how many people are going

Which other RIU have you visited? I’m thinking of Cancun or Cabo
I've been to RIU Palace Las Americas & RIU Palace Peninsula, both in Cancun!
was the liquor premium brands or more lower quality?
They had well known brands that I can remember seeing. I drink Bacardi and never had an issue getting that, I would just specify thats the rum I wanted when ordering. I got to a lot of different resorts though so I cant remember exactly what all they had. They start to blend together lol
Do you remember which company was responsable for the shuttle from the airport to the resort?
Im sorry, I dont remember. I just tried to find my travel docs but can't figure out what i did with them. I believe we booked with Delta Vacations though and the transfer was set up through that. But I don't remember who it was that actually picked us up. Sorry!!
RIU often offers transfers to their guests. They probably arranged it. When you book they often want your flight info.
