Superbly done! This is a fitting tribute to one of the nation's great old train stations. Thank the Lord that the people of Richmond and city leaders made sure it was saved and made even more spectacular than ever.
I love this building so much! It is the reason my wife and I chose to move to RVA. When we were dating, we lived in Maryland and would drive through Richmond to visit relatives in North Carolina. Each time, my wife would tell me that ever since she was a young girl, she loved seeing that beautiful building when her family would drive from their home in NC to visit her grandparents in DC. She always talked about how she had wished it was restored. Then, one trip, we drove past and it was beautifully lit up and we were so excited. From that time on RVA represented a place of new beginnings for us and when I was about to graduate from law school, we specifically sought employment in Richmond. That building will always be a special part of our life. Thanks for the great video!
Just went and visited the place for the first time since its rehabilitation, and it's incredible! I never imagined that the station would ever reach such a point, it now genuinely looks like a modern, and welcoming place to travel from and to visit. It is going to be a great thing for the city!
