What I smell in it is salt water mixed with a musky scent now when I was by the bay the salt water mix with the musky of the swamp plants it reminds me of it & its sexy its the feeling of night its spices & woodsy of sensation of mysterious musk and I smell Rum too
I think I'll be buying this soon, the bottle and name of it are also making me want this more! Can't help but associate this with either the Video games Bayonetta or Devil May Cry, and the notes sound very interesting!
I agree with you it is a truly outstanding enigmatic sensuous parfum. I always thought that was just Guerlain's Samsara that was totally bizarre and baffling as a perfume as it throws you in so many different directions at once totally unique. I was wrong you literally can't describe this one no matter how hard you try, it is a Givenchy masterpiece.
This used to be my signature perfume. This along with the edt version that smelt slightly different. Can't seem to find the edt anymore though, having had a quick look. Fast forward a decade, now in 2021 my signature perfume is jpg scandal, but I had the old Ange ou demon bottle gathering dust, and upon revisiting, my god. It definitely makes you want to keep smelling it. Really intriguing and addictive I must say. I was looking to repurchase it but I read its since been watered down and reformulated. I guess in the perfumery world, we ough not to get attached to perfumes as they're constantly reformulated. The irony is that perfumes are meant to bring back memories as sense of smell does that. So it defeats the purpose when they reformulate things. It jeopardises the very thing that makes us attach to perfumes. Past tense along with its memories are meant to remain as they are; unchangeable, stuck in a place in time. Perhaps this is done strategically in order to keep us splashing our money on new stuff rather than stick with the tried and tested. I really don't enjoy this aspect of the perfume world. The least they can do is to announce reformulations. They're not cheap afterall.

I am wanting to try the EDP version of Dahlia Noir but I am afraid to buy it because others find the scent very polarizing. I'd like to know what you think about it. Cassie Trinidad Hi Cassie. Dhalia Noir is no way as scary as Ange Ou Demon, in fact it's quite the opposite. It's really soft. A friend of mine has this perfume and I only ever get gentle wisps of something very soft, not scary at all!!! hehe. :)
I wore this on my trip to Paris. I'm reminded of Paris whenever I wear this. I use it sparingly as I can't find it anywhere where I live. Its truly a masterpiece soft and gentle but unfortunately underrated.
I love rosewood! And I was certain you must have reviewed this. Those reviews on Amazon don't do it justice. They say it is absolutely horrible. But I like it a lot. If just that plastic-like vanilla smell would be missing, I would make it my signature. It bothers me too much.

My perfume is Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent. I'm French and I live in France, so I don't know if you can find it because for .e it's hard. But you really need to smell this one! It's smell so good with some notes that a lot of perfume didn't have. I really recommend it. Good continuation. I love your videos. They're great. I happy to see a man talking about perfumes!! Jennie Georgiades I never got a comment. Maybe because I wore it to work and not really on a night out or anything like that. I wore it for a few days in my office just to get a feel for it. I think it's really interesting though and I'd like to smell it on someone as they walked by to really be able to tell what kind of feeling it evokes. :)

I bought this and got a sample meanwhile I received my order. At the time I smelled it, it was ok. I was told it gets compliments. So I ordered it to give a try. In the meantime I used my sample when going out. I don't know why but it gave me a huge headache & smelled terrible. Had to take shower to remove the odor. I really wanted to love it but wasn't my case. Back it went.

I think it’s completely different, actually. But I really like them both. There’s no coconut in this one. I smell deep sweet incense. Maybe if you layer Chanel n5 EDT with Crystal Noir it’ll smell like Ange ou demon. :P
I discovered this perfume in 2009 as a sample along with several other Givenchy, Estee Lauder and Lancome samples after purchasing perfume for myself, my mother and my father. I remember that I was given so many different samples because they were out of the advertised gifts they were providing with the perfumes I came to purchase (the advertised gifts with my chosen perfumes had altered the store I chose to purchase from). They loaded me up with literally all the other sample items available including the aforementioned perfume samples, one sample kit with miniature bottles of perfume for women and one for men, makeup samples from different counters, etc. However, to my dismay Givenchy went along with other perfume manufacturers and came up with the Ange ou De'mon le Secret which has a much sweeter tone and stopped sellingtheoriginal! As far as I can tell via searching for the original, major department stores no longer sell the original. Does anyone know of a store that sells authentic Givenchy Ange ou De'mon? HELP!

It sounds really beautfiul on you! On me the saffron seems a bit too sharp, and the magic between vanilla and flowers is not there. I did not enjoy it. :(

Nano 9 most people probably wouldn't even notice whether it's men's or women's. Not everyone's noses are in tune to masculine and feminine smells or.. what they are perceived to be. The way fragrances are made now (especially with niche brands) they are just made with no label on it. If you are uncomfortable with it then don't do it. People will judge regardless for all sorts of reasons. What I do when o wear women's fragrances is just wear them with confidence.. 95% of my wardrobe is women's and no one have ever said anything to me on the street or out in bars etc about "is that women's?" Hehe. Maybe try a little bit under your clothes first to see how you feel wearing it? So it's really subtle... that works for me too!
to me this is magic. the smell of the fragrance actually depends on the person, either if you are an angel or demon. it even depends on your mood, if you feel more innocent on the day it smells more floraly and if you feel sexier the smell switches to demon instantly.. which is actually weird. to me you have to be a little bit of a demon to bring out the real best in this fragrance.
This one is definitely not for me. Far too strong. Far too heavy. I was expecting something a lot more from this one. Again, scents are very subjective. Perhaps, it just doesn’t cater to my taste.
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews There is a complex ‘hay’ like smell in saffron but it’s bit more like a heavy grassy oriental note supposed to the earthy scent of pure hay. Normal Hay just smells like horses, saffron smells like a sweet peppery yet dark and deep hay if that makes sense.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought it smelled like root beer and Hypnotic Poison. Sometimes I kinda smell Alien as well. I love this perfume!

I mix this perfume with a soft cotton cologne haha and it's awesome cause it gets softer ...
A seller was sellinv a discontinued scent from Avon, depending on how good it is I may use it.

This one is much woodier than hypnotic poison but still sweet. I would say you might like it, deffo try and hunt a sample of it if you are unsure. :)
