i did my graphics degree at kingston poly (1982-1985), our illustration lecturer told us the story of how his predecessor was famed for having said "you're never going to get anywhere until you put that guitar down clapton".
I wonder if 200 years from now, assuming the guitars haven't deteriorated, if those guitars will still be valuable or if they will be worthless.

It has been a great chance to relive a lot of musical memories and can only agree they're worth every penny - wish I owned one!
There are musicians who are so legendary that their guitars have become treasures of history, so it doesn't surprise me that there are people willing to pay anything to have them. But still these prices have left me shocked.
Im a guitar lover before then i stopped, but now im getting interested in guitars again but now its bass not acoustic or electric, this guitars are awesome i wish i can have one of this!

I know a couple people that would sure love to have even just one of these. I myself wouldn't mind having Kurt Cobain's, but I'd never, ever sell it. #3 was definitely a surprise though!
