SARTORIAL from Penhaligon’s [Perfumer Review]

Bro, Sartorial is the type of fragrance you have to wear 3 or 4 times before you get a clear sense of what it offers.
I can vouch that all the notes are there but they are blended so masterfully it is hard to pick them out individually.
I don’t know the types of fragrances you’re into but Sartorial is a very nice fragrance that is appealing because of its subtlety. It doesn’t scream from across the room or use trendy synthetic materials to follow the crowd. This is a classic men’s fragrance that is elegant yet sexy.
Double check that you actually have the real thing and if so, keep giving it a try. Trust me it will grow on you!

Assuming I have the right thing, I am pretty good at picking out select materials used in a fragrance and from making perfumes I know marketing is typically BS.
However I won’t say you’re wrong by any means and will happily retry it, but that heart to drydown was VERY common. I’m into many different scents and if you have any recommendations i’ll take them! Thanks for watching

As you suggest, how fragrances appeal to different people can be very subjective. But with that being said, here are some of my favorites I can recommend:
