      Will it be with AM/Delta?

      LosGatosNYC AM however my trip has been modified 3 times already since March with time changes. Maybe I should have flown Delta lol but I understand with the current circumstances as long as we arrive I’m happy 😃

      @@jonathanlocklear7876 oh that sucks! AMs fleet is definitely being consolidated now. All of the Dreamliners are parked at MEX and most of their 737s have been replaced by Delta's 757s. I wouldn't be surprised if you flew in a Delta bird.

    Loved the video! Thank you for all that info, I will be flying from LAX to México City as well, then off to Oaxaca City in the next 4 days. I was looking for a great video that could cover all my questions, and you did!Thank you!😊One question, how much time before your flight to Huatulco did you arrive at Mexico City? Or that you would consider reasonable for the time being, Thanks in advance.

      Thanks for this! Sorry it took us a while to write back, we were actually traveling from Mexico City back to HUX. AMX actually changed our original flight so we had an overnight in Mexico City. On the way back, we had 55 minutes between our HUX-MEX flight and MEX to NYC and made it in time!

    Do you have to recheck bags when you take a delta/Aeromexico flight?

    • @LosGatosNYC
      @LosGatosNYC  Před 2 lety

      As long as your tickets are under the same booking and your transfer is within a few hours or arrival, the code share will automatically redirect your bags to your connection. The gate agent will be able to confirm.when you check in. If you have an overnight, you will likely have to retrieve and recheck.

    Did they want to test you when exiting Mexico?

    • @LosGatosNYC
      @LosGatosNYC  Před 3 lety

      They do attestation and temperature checks but the US requires a negative test result to fly

    What a bunch of bull shit. Sad that other airlines can still offer service but DL is choosing to go with ultra low cost just about.

    • @LosGatosNYC
      @LosGatosNYC  Před 4 lety +1

      Agreed. Compared to AMX, Delta could have offered more.

      @@LosGatosNYC in a couple weeks im ord-atl-mex on DL and AMX on the way back in first. Im really sad to see that its water, beer or wine only in first and C+ on the way down. I'm worried about whats offered on the way home on AMX. I cant really find anything online saying what service is like. Was the AMX lounge open?

    • @LosGatosNYC
      @LosGatosNYC  Před 4 lety

      Yes that AMX lounge was open but it's booze and peanuts. Not like what it was. We'll be taking this route again soon and aren't looking forward to it

      @@LosGatosNYC I have 4 more trips I'm taking after this one in a couple weeks. If DL and AMX don't get it together I'll jump shit to a more bang for my buck airline. Three of the 4 are international, Panama City, Mexico City and Santiago Chile.

    • @LosGatosNYC
      @LosGatosNYC  Před 4 lety

      @@gregmarquez8720 we were thinking the same. AMX used to be so much better but it seems to be losing it's way
