    Nice to see the sage and weeds that I spent hours pulling up by hand this year haven't grown back in front of the old flagpole structure property (5:42) so folks can pull off to read the historical marker (shown at 7:57). There is also an old arrastra drag mill in the southwest corner of the barbed wire fenced property.     So i have access to the area east of the townsite. There are some older buildings still standing but are failing fast to time. I have also discovered some indian artifacts sout towards the railroad tracks. Petroglyph panels depicting some sort of horned game-

    Never knew this existed, I guess that is the down side of approaching Ridgecrest from the north.

      Yeah, I looked for a sign coming back from Ridgecrest and didn't see one.
