🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOPS#TO...
Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_r...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

Hello Everyone!
Apologies for the relatively shaky video, there was a very strong wind on this day!
Thanks for Watching! 🤗
Do you use a tripod or do you hand-hold your camera?
The wind can't be helped, pretty stable footage considering!
@@BritishTrainspottingStarlife doesn't use a tripod
Don’t worry about it mate
I am always hand held with the camera and do not use a tripod. My experience shows that the use of a tripod only makes staff annoyed. Thanks for your kind comments.
gotta love a deltic! i would have seen 55009 back in november but it failed so it was changed to 40145 😖
I love the 55’s. One of the best engines out there.
Absolutely! It’s great to see (and hear) it back on the mainline.😃👍🏻

Yea it was but says it was recorded on August when I uploaded a vid during 20-30th but it was actually recorded on that day so I was really unlucky 😕
Super good and fantastic video! What editor do you use?
I use a mixture of CyberLink PowerDirector and Adobe After Effects. Hope this helps Pehmomies!
@@StarlifeStudios Okay! Nice😃
hi great video how do you know what trains are coming and what time ther supposed to arrive at and leave at and how many minutes late or on time
Hi, I use a website called realtimetrains.co.uk which shows all the trains passing stations.
Great Trainspotting ross! And its ok for the high wind! how is Newark Northgate? Good does it have much train?
Newark Northgate gets a pretty good service and you can reach London and Edinburgh pretty easily but east west links are better from Newark Castle. Thanks Filip.
Thank you@@StarlifeStudios!
So I’ve been wondering this for a while but when a train is passing through often at high speed, how do you manage to know what number it is - as in the numbers like ‘801019’, for example. Just not sure how to spot them considering they’re going through so quick! Thanks!

Hey Starlife, why is 803004 going to Alnmouth?
Hi Joe, 803004 was cancelled at Alnmouth due to high winds on the east coast. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Why was 801214 going from Glasgow @StarlifeStudios
@Harrynhoughton13 This service starts from Glasgow Central and is the only service on a weekend to do so.
