I didn’t like how everytime he post his kids or his kids post, people are in the comments talking about it. My son went to high school with his stepson and I know their family (kids family) so I was concerned about the kids.

Diddy punched her once and she went to the ground and lay still. She remained still as he kicked her and only moved after he dragged her. Cassie has been through this before, multiple times. She learned to not defend herself when he is erratic because he would continue beating her up. She learned that she needed to get still enough to survive the beating. Because if she moves and he hits her at a certain angle, she would die of internal bleeding due to an injury. A DV victim learns to survive the wrath, until they are courageous enough to walk away and never come back.

Cassie didn’t expose this tape. Diddy had this tape. Even in the lawsuit, Cassie stated that Diddy purchased the footage from the hotel in 2016 for 50k. CNN having this footage now means that it more than likely was amongst the recordings that were confiscated during that warrant that was executed on his properties. If Cassie’s team dropped it, it would’ve been dropped much earlier

Yep, my mother was in an abusive relationship. I lived with her in a battered shelter. One of the girls I played with at the shelter mother was killed by her father shortly after they left the shelter. That shook me as a child. I had a few conversations with my mom about abuse. She told me she lost many friends bc she kept going back to my dad. I think for many women they stay for practical reasons, mostly financial. Many on the outside don’t get it and think battered women are simply dumb.
Leaving is the hardest and most dangerous for any DV victim.....so dont judge a woman who hasnt left yet. 😢

It has been statistically proven that the first thing an abuser does is isolate his victims. Next, they break the victim mentally, and finally, the most dangerous time for a domestic violence victim is when she/he tries to leave. I have two friends who went through this. The physical damage heals fairly quickly. The mental and emotional wounds can last for the rest of a victim’s life. Also, let’s not forget about the collateral damage. Any children that are present in the home. I believe their wounds can be deeper than the adult(s).

I watched it with my mouth hanging wide open. It’s one thing to read about it. It’s another thing to see it. I pray she has a good therapist and great support system. Can you imagine one of the worst days of your life being shared and played over and over all over the world? Heartbreaking!
*Battered Women's Syndrome* is a clinical psychological ailment. Victims don't leave because of one or more of the following: the victim stays because she/he may not have the resources to care for the children, her/his self-esteem has been leveled to the ground and feels as though no one else will want them, the victim fears retribution from the abuser if she/he *tries* to leave, the victims may have been abandoned and don't want to abandon her/his abuser, etc. Domestic violence victims and survivors are emotionally and psychological in *pain* and are *paralyzed* with fear, insecurity, anxiety, and apprehension. So please educate yourselves and don't be so quick to make uninformed judgments. Be safe y'all. Be educated. 🖤

To be honest, a lot of women are broken mentally and they don't love themselves enough to get out. You have to love yourself enough to not allow anyone to hurt you. One time my husband tried me, I burst him upside the head with a glass lamp, and I was gone...twin babies and all because I'm not staying anywhere were there is violence. I didn't come up in an environment where there was fighting, cursing, and hurt in the home, so I wasn't use to this type of pain. And I wasn't trying to adapt to it either. Please ladies, seek help if you can't find the strength to get out.

I have been reading the comments under several posts about this and I just smh. I have read so many WOMEN saying, "now I believe her." And I have even seen some men say, "well some women are gold diggers," "well some women do lie on men." This world is sad.
I always believed every word she said - I also believe she was culpable in staying in that relationship accepting the abuse as long as it was beneficial for her - she said so herself - she didn't go public until he refused to pay her off ( bad decision on his part) in the end the public knows how horrific diddy treats women - she got her $50M or whatever it ended up to be and the entire world of abuse of women by powerful men takes a huge hit

Oh yeah. He rented out the ENTIRE brown hotel in Louisville. A historic highend hotelier. I was a flight attendant at the time for a major carrier. My employer airline paid yearly, 2M to secure 12 to 18 crew rooms for every night of the year - in that hotel. Well for the Kentucky Derby that year, I think its been maybe 9 to 10 years ago, the crews of all of the airlines had to be 'walked' to another hotel (that's just a term for a last minute airline booking their crews to a nearby hotel rather than the yearly contracted and paid for hotel), bc Sean Combes paid for the entire hotel to be closed for his group for 3 days. He had to have paid several Million to do this. Capitalism in real life. Mond you that hotel didn't even allow black patrons until the 70s. It was built in the late 1800s.

As a DV survivor it’s not as easy as it seems. When a lot of these men commit this crimes they are not mentally stable and very unpredictable. Threats to kill you, your family, and even himself drives the fear even further. I always considered myself a strong person who was a trained DV victim advocate at the local women shelter and I still ended up victimized. I prayed this man away and just like that he was gone after 21 yrs. Ifa saved me and Oshun continued to protect me

I’ve never been in a physically abusive relationship…but there was definitely mental abuse and I stayed for 7 years…it really takes a toll on you as a person and your self esteem. Yeah, it’s not that easy, until the day that you gain your strength to leave.

Thank you for saying what you’ve said about domestic violence. I grew up in a domestic violence home, stepdad beat my mom frequently and he mentally broke her down. People always told her to leave him. When she tried to, and she did try, no one wanted to help her, and distanced themselves from us. It was painful to see my mom have to go back. The only way she left him, was because he got thrown in prison for 7years (unrelated to DV). Domestic Violence is real devastating. Cassie is one strong woman/person. Many prayers and blessings for her🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I was in a abusive relationship when I was a teenager i tried to leave but he found me the police couldn't even help me he would fight the police shid he beat up his own mom and grandma i moved away without telling my family so could be free i found out that he got shot and died im sorry to say i was free i was only 14 years old when the beating started God bless anyone going through this
