Everyone's talking about his shooting or whatever, but the real lesson from this video is cardio is everything. The dude was running a lot and the people he was shooting were pretty much just standing around or walking slowly, having no idea somebody on the other team could have gotten behind them or in those ambush locations.
Honestly, it's not that hard to get better at cardio than nearly everyone else in the world, because most people don't exercise at all. Start today. After your first run, or even just a jog, make a schedule and stick with it. Good habits start right now.

Absolutely right. I come from a country where every male is conscripted into the army, and its crazy how quickly gear and moving around into various terrain and postures takes the wind out of you. Your heart is regularly pounding in your chest and in your head (especially with a helmet thats additionally weighed down by tact gear). We could immediately pick out soldiers with poorer physical health than those who kept zipping around and still manage to get largely accurate shots off. More important also was the ability to recover quickly, which is a huge part of the cardio training.
@@moltenbullet in the United States there is a program in high school called JROTC that prepares you for the military, and there is a competitive team called Raiders (modeled after US Army Rangers) that does more intensive things like land nav, rapelling, rope bridges, obstacle courses, long runs with gear, first aid, and casualty recovery. The main thing they train you in is cardio and cardio recovery, especially in combat uniforms and with weighted packs. Between that and being on Varsity wrestling, I learned the best way to train for recovery is sprints, running stairs, and plyometrics such as burpees

There is practice which makes you better and there is training by professionals which shows you HOW to practice.
not exactly. it's more like an experienced sword fighter against a beginner. and even then. some of these airsoft guys do it for awhile. you can gain some personal skill, aim, etc. and guns do help make a more even playing field. there's a reason why, even as a trained officer, that actual gunfights can be so scary. it only takes one good shot from the enemy, one miscalculation.

I was actually surprised by how much he missed, he needed three shots to hit once on average.
I'm not saying I can in anyway do better, I'm just shocked, when you think SWAT you think sharpshooter accuracy and deadly speed, and he delivered one of the two.

@@R0B690 yeah. As a professional laser tag player this baffles me to no end. Also if someone with a brain was holding any of the rooms he went in, he would've been destroyed. You can NOT clear a room without a shield, grenades or blindfiring! That is why real SWAT officers use ballistic shields, gas grenades and flashbangs. If you know where the enemy is, you can shoot around the corner without exposing anything else besides your weapon, however this requires you have one of those little tools that can be used to peek around a corner. This isn't a video game. Your enemies aren't just standing around waiting for you to bust in and shoot them. They are prepared to shoot you and probably behind as much cover as they can.

The man simply obliterates everyone he comes across.
As the SWAT officer made his way up the left flank towards the castle, I popped open a beer back at the starting point and sat in my chair waiting for him to win the game.
That was cool to watch. I normally donât watch airsoft, but the title intrigued me. Everyone should pay attention to his movements. He only once sticks his gun on the window to get a guy passing. But notice how he stands way back from the window all other times? Barrel leaning on the window, will get you lite up and real scenarios (combat or police), bullets will pass through cover. He knows this. You can still see out, and nobody will see you in the shadows in the back of the room. And he obviously has been trained in non-standard shooting practices, like when he laid on his back and got those guys down the hall. Finally, Iâm super impressed he is firing single shots. But that is how they train it is a rare occasion when someone with a rifle or even vector, will use full auto. My hat is of to him. He knows what he is doing. Be glad he is a good guy. God, I imagine his team would literally wipe everyone if they did this. Only thing more effective than him would be he and his team. I own a real Vector and love the gun. Even though never using a Vector, he adapted immediately. Sign of a true clinician when it comes to firearms.

man, I remember army infantry dude who did tons of MOUT training was playing at my local airsoft field. He always played at the CQB zone and crushed everyone.
The one time I played actual paintball with civilians it was super windy, like 20-30mph and I had a dinky rental gun going up against guys dumping paintballs into their hopper while spraying them all over the place. I got taken out wanted style by stray rounds a couple times but when it went indoors the other team got their shit wrecked, full auto and all. I took out about 3/4 of the other team by myself, nobody else made it inside, and that's the only time that training was ever valuable to me.
