Great Video. We will play for sure with the rules!
Thank you very much for this Josh and like you I love VBCW. If you need any help shout out as I did a series of articles on FaceBook at VBCW recently, okay I was showing off my artwork, lol, but I am happy to help. Also i am going to share the crap out of this too, lol. Just to let you know I think Bolt Action is the prefect gaming system for VBCW.
I’m glad you’re on board thank you! I’ve been meaning to do something like this for such a long time and now I’m committed aha. Any help would be massively appreciated, I’ll check out those articles and get in touch :) you have every right to share your art, it perfectly captures the setting! I have to show it off here aha. Sharing this about would be a huge help and hopefully get the word out and build the community
Brilliant stuff, this has inspired me to clean my paint station and get back into it!
Cheers mate! This videos done its job if even one person gets into it and glad it paid off 😄
Thanks for that. I'd got several of the books but wasn't sure how to convert things over to Bolt Action Rules. That was useful.
Cheers! Glad I could help a bit, it took ages to find stuff for bolt action so if I can shorten that search for anyone else the videos done its job :)
Great video! Going to share this to try to drum up more interest in my local group.
Thanks! Hopefully your group follow the sound of the drums and flock to VBCW 😄
Great vid. I’m not normally so interested in 20th century games, but I have played this once and I really enjoyed it. I think that’s partly due to the really rich lore behind it. It’s really interesting. Look forward to more in the series anyway. 🙂
Cheers mate! Yeah it really stands apart from other 20th century games, I think most people can get behind the character and light hearted nature of it! Glad you’re enjoying it so far
Nice overview about the theatre with very good books and source material. Thanks mate.
Cheers mate! Got to make use of the great books that are out there, reading about it is half the fun sometimes
Thanks for the video(s). I had already found the background one some time back. Would be great for others If you link it in the description. And the faction book videos are great as well. Not an English native but no problem whatsoever following along, mate. Lowering the music’s volume would be nice though, as it is a little bit distracting. Cheers
Cheers mate! Glad you’re enjoying the videos and they’re working for you. I think I sorted the audio out a little bit in the newest video, still new to editing! I put the link in a video card but I can certainly put it in the description for ease :)
As always great work I look forward to more :)
Cheers man! Glad you’re on board 😄
Hey man, thanks for putting a new avbcw video. I’m a lifelong Anglophile in the states and I just started getting a gaggle together to start playing. I’m hoping to make a few vids of my own before the year is out. Love all your videos and please keep it up
Cheers for the support mate! Great to hear the game has support over in the ex colonies ;) if you do make videos please do let me know and I’ll be more than happy to give a shout out. All the best and thanks for the kind words 😄
Joshua Swann you’re a prince among men, Joshua
Nice video mate, I’m sure I saw this video recently? Maybe it’s just me tho...
Cheers man! Idk must be some kind of mind tricks and capitalist trickery 👀
:-D
Great video ... but turn down the music ... damn i sound like me dad
Cheers mate! I’ll listen to the Da advice and sort it out for the next one aha
@@TheYorkshireTankie Ta Josh...i'd rather here the ducelt tones of my home county lol...
I saw “me” and thought I spied a fellow Yorkshireman, good on yer
Thanks for starting this series. So far ok but what are you trying to do. Why not start with the "history" of the VBCW? Why is this war going on, what are the factions, what has happened . You start us off by showing a bunch of booklets that make no sense without context. Next, LOSE THE MUSIC. Please consider that, hopefully, many of your watchers, like me, are not accustomed to a British accent. It is interesting to learn about the milieu from a British speaker, however. The music makes it even more difficult to understand the vocal audio. Please, also speak a bit slower. I am looking forward to soon learning about what this VBCW is actually about. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you’re on board :) I didn’t mention the history here because I’ve already made quite a long video on that (I put a link in the card feature but here’s a link although be warned the audio isn’t great czcams.com/video/cX-tTnZ2NwE/video.html.) I appreciate the music thoughts, I added it because my voice alone sounds somewhat awkward so I put it in for a bit of a theme. I appreciate the non English viewers though (i have the same issue sometimes when I listen to German videos as that’s my second language!) and my Yorkshire accent can be odd so I’ll try and address the audio and add some more visual cues and bulletpoints so it’s easier to follow for yous :) hope that helps in future!
