Exploring Bintan on Two Wheels | SINGAPORE CYCLING VLOG

Since the birth of COVID-19, travelling has always been out of bounds for cyclists who always yearn to see the world on their two-wheelers. For us, Bintan has always been a go-to location in our region because it provides the vast terrain and opportunity for road cyclists (even MTBers). Cycling back home in Singapore can get pretty mundane very quickly especially if you're one like me who tends to commute daily for work.
Our last trip to Tanjung Pinang, Bintan, was two years ago in early 2020. Please allow us to share our weekend getaway in a neighbouring country where a local group of avid cyclists, OPCJS, heads over via a short 90mins ferry ride. Mostly, you'll see me blabbering about the wonders of seeing the world at a slower-paced wheeler compared to travelling in vehicles, but edging out to see more than jogging, walking, or sightseeing.

Hi Lee, unfortunately I don’t ride in Bintan enough to know any local groups. But we usually go there on an annual basis because of the laidback culture to ease our minds from the hectic Singapore! See you on the roads and be safe.
