Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is a daredevil billionaire at the top of his game. His eponymous company FireBrand is nearing completion on its greatest achievement to date - the tallest skyscraper in the northern hemisphere. But Tom’s workaholic lifestyle has disconnected him from his family, particularly his beautiful wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and his adoring daughter Rebecca (Malina Weissman).
Rebecca’s 11th birthday is here, and she wants the gift she wants every year, a cat. Tom hates cats, but he is without a gift and time is running out. His GPS directs him to a mystical pet store brimming with odd and exotic cats- where the store’s eccentric owner- Felix Perkins (Christopher Walken), presents him with a majestic tomcat, named Mr. Fuzzypants.
En route to his daughter’s party, Tom has a terrible accident. When he regains consciousness he discovers that somehow, he has become trapped inside the body of the cat. Adopted by his own family, he begins to experience what life is truly like for the family pet, and as a cat, Tom begins to see his family and his life through a new and unexpected perspective. Meanwhile, his family adjusts to life with an odd and stubborn cat, and his son David (Robbie Amell), steps up in ways Tom never expected.
If any hope exists of returning to his family as the husband and father they deserve, Tom will have to learn why he has been placed in this peculiar situation and the great lengths he must go to earn back his human existence.

I don't get the hate. This was honestly the best movie I ever saw in my life, mostly because of the jokes and the emotional and unexpected ending. It wasn't a piece of recycled crap like most kids movies are. It had a good way of presenting the plot and even made some valid and mindblowing points that justify the actions commited.

This is literally the most generic and predictable premise for a movie I have ever seen.
Actually this is one of the weirdest and least generic premises for a movie you've ever seen.
In my opinion this movie is gonna suck! Here are my reasons why that this movie is going to suck. First of all it's unoriginal because a story in which a human turns into an animal have been done many times before for example The Shaggy Dog (The old one not the terrible Tim Allen one). The second reason why it's gonna suck is the humor, Oh god, the humor it looks painfully unfunny like there's this one part in the trailer where Kevin Spacey cat takes a dump on a woman's purse and that just made me cringe. Third, the acting sounds like crap, the CGI and it's pop culture references. and My Fourth and last reason is that is going to be a box office bomb because it's releasing on the same day as Suicide Squad where many people would rather see than Nine Lives and those are my reasons why I think this movie is gonna suck.

While watching it, I laughed out load like 13 times 😂 The cat was so grumpyyyyy it was so funnnnny, I bet the guy who voices him is very sweet and a stand up honest guy who I would definitely like to hang out with and possibly even let watch my children.
