  • KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA is known for its amazing Malaysian food. But you can also find great Indian food and Chinese food in Malaysia. But I did not expect to find delicious Arabic food in Malaysia. Today, I eat at an Egyptian restaurant in the heart of Kuala Lumpur called Alhufra. I was simply blown away by the friendliness of this family and the taste of this food. I simply didn't know Malaysia had flavours like this. This is one of the best authentic Arabic restaurants in Kuala Lumpur.

    Not surprising to find Middle Eastern food in KL. There're quite a few ME food stalls right on Jl Bukit Bintang.

    Wow love to try those food one day. Don'y have to go to Middle East..you can find food from all over the world in KL.
    When ordering drinks in Malaysia, best to remember and tell the waiter or staff to put less sugar or no sugar. Even us, locals do it often.

    สำหรับผมซึ่งเคยใช้ชีวิตตอนเด็กๆที่ชายเเดนภาคใต้ของไทย อาหารมาเลย์ฉันก็กินบ่อย
    มันเป็นรูปเเบบของมัน เป็นรูปเเบบเกี่ยวกับอาหารของชาวมุสลิม มีรสชาต กลิ่น เเละเครื่องเทศเฉพาะ

    เเตกต่างที่ความเผ็ดของอาหารซึ่งที่ไทยจะเผ็ดกว่า

      Yeah you’re right, I really like it down at the southern border, later in the yea till have videos from the Deep South of Thailand,

    • @khairunna100
      @khairunna100 Před 11 měsíci +1

      It depends on which part of Thai south you are talking about. Southern Thailand shares border with 4 Malaysian states i.e. Perlis and Kedah is next to Satun. Perak is next to Yala and Kelantan is next to Narathiwat.
      Satun was once part of kingdom of Kedah (as was Perlis). Kedah used to pay tributes to the kingdom of Siam until Anglo-Thai treaty of 1909. Therefore, the cuisines of Satun would be very similar to Kedah and Perlis.
      Yala, Narathiwat and Patani were once part of independent Patani kingdom until it was conquered by the kingdom of Siam (Ayutthaya dynasty) in the late 18th century. Kelantan and these three provinces shared a lot of cultural practices including cuisines and also the same Malay dialect. So it is not surprising their cuisines are similar except that Kelantanese cuisines are sweeter (they love sugar).
      If you go down to the state of Terengganu (south of Kelantan), the cuisines are also almost similar where you can get nasi dagang and nasi kerabu among others. Terengganu’s cuisines however are less sweet.
      The cuisines of north Perak is quite similar to Yala but then north Perak is sparsely populated due to its hilly terrain.
      Nowadays, due to migrations southern Thai cuisines are available all over peninsular Malaysia.
