Then his 2012 injury forced him to evolve his game to become the master of off the ball movement, if he wanted to he could still do all those things but his evolution necessitated sth else. He didn't need to be part of the buildup anymore partly also because Madrid had a hell of a midfield. If it was easy all strikers in the world would have 700+ goals. Ronaldo is the master of evolution he is 36 now and still at the top of the mountain alongside Messi. What ifs usually dont make sense. It is like saying what if he never left UTD or Sporting? Reality is he wouldnt be as good! What if he suffered injuries and setbacks? CR7 had that advantage, he was almost never injured and rarely missed a match while Messi suffered many injuries and missed important matches every season.
Now someone would say because he took good care of himself. Trust me, working hard and taking really good care of yourself alone doesn't gurantee 100% fitness all the time! Whether you believe it or not, luck plays a huge part! That's why players look up and appreciate their good fortune when things go well for them!

Podré ser fiel seguidor del fútbol club Barcelona, admirar a Leo y su grandeza, pero no por eso voy a odiar a Cristiano Ronaldo. Lo que ha conseguido a lo largo de su carrera es impresionante. Ambos quedarán en nuestro recuerdo cuando se retiren, pero nunca debemos faltar al respeto a uno o a otro por pertenecer a un equipo que no nos guste. Somos afortunados por haberlos visto en su época de apogeo.

Que infravalorada está la carrera de Cavani... Por otro lado, Neymar desde chico siempre fue un monstruo; lo de CR7 después de los 30 es la clara muestra de como se puede pasar de ser un extremo a un 9 digno de los mejores de la historia. Pero lo de Messi a lo largo de su carrera, es simplemente absurdo. Sin dudas es el mejor de esta generación, por mucho. Si él siglo XXI terminara hoy, no hay duda de quién sería el mejor jugador del siglo.
