      Love watching your videos.
I will definitely get one of these if they will send to Australia, thanks.
Also being a Sony A1 user in Australia, I was wondering if you have a "Settings for Video for Sony users".
I shoot stills mostly - but the settings for simple all round video use is hard to find on You Tube. Most try to explain video in great depth, something that occasional video users do not comprehend. Any help would be appreciated. Barry B.

Your friend should make one for Sony's 200-600 mm lens.

this is exactly what I came to say :-) Also, a collapsible alternative for the 200-600 would make the packing and transporting simpler.

I have a prototype for the 200-600 but I'm not really happy with it and it doesn't stay attached any better than the stock one. That said, it's on my list of ones to get to.

Awesome travel hood. I’ve been using this hood since February without any issue. It travels well with the think tank streetwalker bag over oem hood.

Mark - I've been using the same Wolff hood on my 600/4 after battling the gusty coastal winds in Iceland a year ago, and agree with your comments on the advantages over the OEM hood. After some initial concern about potentially greater lens flare when shooting toward the sun, I haven't noticed that and now feel no need to ever use the original hood in the future.

Just wrap it, take it to a person who specializes in that or order your own material and learn on something first and then try it yourself, I'm sure you'll figure it out! Canon has short hoods and they charge about $500 for them, lol. However what's even crazier is the new Nikon super-tele hoods are $900+ if you loose or damage one! Crazy!!! Drop-in CP, another $500! For a freaking 46mm diameter CP filter? Wow! I bought one anyways because I shoot a lot near water, the ocean and pools, etc.!

I use mine OEM ones as a protector. Im wondering, once you hit something with that one 3D printed, if it fall of easily or will hold as original one. Also shorter one doesn’t work with sun that well no?

Hi, Mark-it sounds crazy, but I can't seem to find the front opening diameter of the 600mm f4. I'll have one of these for the eclipse next April, and I need to buy a cardboard solar filter to slip over the front opening. Sony specs only list the diameter of the internal filter (40.5mm) and the max diameter of the entire lens body with the tripod mount attached (6.5 inches). Google searches for the diameter of the business end give me 95mm, which I think may be for the internally-fitting lens cap. Can you help?
