I was so glad to learn about this project! What an amazing (and much needed) initiative! I really hope you will succeed in finding ways of getting rid of the eucalyptus that are both cost-effective and gentle on the soil and the surrounding vegetation. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the eucalyptus madness in the Iberian peninsula. Maybe projects like this one could eventually be combined with ecotourism? Wishing you all the best!

Super interesting video! A great description of the project. I really hope you can find a way to remove the eucalyptus! I follow another group that is restoring a piece of land in Portugal and the have the same issues with mimosa trees (I don't know the scientific name), which are also non-native species and they are now also making a pilot to prevent resprouting.
