- This is a full garden design and build explained with voiceover. The build took around 7 (wet winter) weeks to complete.
The team consisted of 1 designer, 2 landscapers, 1 bricklayer, 1 plasterer, 1 tiler, 2 electricians and 2 gardeners.
The techniques demonstrated in these projects are not meant and as a guide so are for entertainment purposes only as we take no liability for the accuracy of information shared. Wow you guys are on a whole different level to any landscaping videos I’ve seen before thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment 👍 👍
It's like a breath of fresh air to see a tradesman who know how to and wants to, do a top quality job. Well done mate!
Thanks for watching and taking an interest. Thats great feedback thanks!
Stunning! Proper professional standard there. 👊
Thanks, cheers. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Brilliant video and a great job boys.
The voiceover works so very well too.
Cheers lads appreciate it 🍻 and stay warm this winter 👍
Beautiful job. Nicely done. ✨
Thanks so much for sharing this.
New subsciber here! Loving the content of stunning garden designs and that calming dreamy voiceover , what's not to love here.... 😁🤪🌷🪻👌
Thank you 😊 ❤ The voiceovers are almost as tricky as building the design. There's more to follow. Thanks again for taking interest 🙏
Inspiring, thank you.
beautiful, I like when people put flowers a lot of flowers
Thank you, the flower beds were spectacular once they'd matured!
So so good. Love the rock wall contrast with the sleek green lawn. Love the tidy patio area. Now you can have fun with plants. Oh and the barbecue too, great spot.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! It was an interesting design to build.
Thanks for the vlog, really enjoyed it.
Great, thanks for watching! Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻
great work and tbh i love the voiceover it bonds this video all together, and i would love to have some more details about job managment and all the pieces that go in to each segment of a job, how do you time it correctly i mean masons, gardeners and all that stuff.
IMO you achieved poetry when it comes to job handling.
Love your vids!
Thanks for the feedback! And thats a great question! We do nearly all the work with just the two of us so we don't have to rely on other trades or workers too much. So diversifying your skills is the main thing. Plenty of background reading text books etc. The bigger the job the longer they take so theres more leeway for when other trades arrive on site. Smaller jobs are harder to manage if there's lots of other trades to juggle at once. The planting is done by the designer so we literally walk off once the hard landscaping is done and then see it later all finished which is great feeling. The planting makes the garden!! They normally don't plant until autumn when its cooler and better conditions for plants. So some of these gardens have very long time scales.
So finding a work buddy/partner to do jobs with and rely on. Diversifying your skills to handle everything. Building a relationship with a garden designer. Once you've done one or two they'll send you all their work. I find trying to design and build yourself is too much in my opinion with too many changes material choices etc. If its alrewdy on paper you can just get on with it and concentrate on the build.
Top work. Well done. 👏🏽
Thanks very much
Propa sick bro mad skills 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great video and amazing work 😀
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Loved everything about this vid lads 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 everything done properly and quite relaxing to watch after I’ve done the same all day ha ! Excellent 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻
Thanks mate, its not easy at all. We're not building full gardens anymore as its too much. Its why I made the videos of the last few. Only small jobs now, quick and easy! Hope your works going well 👍👍
@@HowWeLandscape yeh I fully appreciate the work on big jobs with so many Dam details/ materials etc it really consumes you sometimes and wish you were on smaller in and out ones ha 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Absolute mint job... 👏 👌
Cheers mate, thanks for watching 👍
@How We Landscape I've just started out on my own, got a few bigs jobs under my belt now.
I learning alot from your videos 👍
really interesting for me as a young landscaper , thanks !
Great, keep up the good work and hope it goes well. Background reading is the best thing. Read anything by John Brookes 👍

nice job lads
Thanks very much, glad you lik it 👍
Superb 😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Good job
Thanks, glad you liked it 👍
I always prepare my lawn base levels to 4 to 5 cm below pavement finished levels, so the lawns don't grow above pavement finished levels. With time, dust and topsoiling naturally raise the lawn rooting zone
Thats true although we have to be very careful about leaving trip hazards. We sit the top of the turf thatch so its level with the paving. Sometimes proud if its had a lot of build up of topsoil as its prone to sink and settle slightly. Each lawn varies on the site.
🤩 👌
Thanks 🙂
I felt the love in this video, but i still feel there were still some aspects missing. I would love to talk to you, about what this could entail, also how i may be able to help.
Nice voice 💕
Thanks very much, a couple of people have said that 🙂
It’s beautiful. Love your format of showing the plan while you explain what’s up. Knowing that cost is different everywhere I’m still curious about the price?
Thanks glad you like it 🙂 It was about 35k including plans and planting. That was pre covid though so would probably be more today.
Stunning transformation. I'm curious, how long did it take from start to finish and with how many people on site?
Glad you enjoyed it! Was about 7 weeks but over a very wet winter. There were 9 trades that contributed although the majority was done by us 2 landscapers. I just updated the video description with the info of project. Cheess for watching 👍
Just subscribe, outstanding work. Really enjoyed how you put it all together. I would love to have something similar installed. I'm guessing it would be at least £25k?
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! You can see more on Daniel Shea Garden Design website. This one was about 35k
Very free draining but holds moisture, you can't have it both ways. Ameliorating subsoil, oh dear, your just blagging it.
I like these works, I want to learn them, I would love to work with you
Thats a great comment, thanks 👍 Thanks for watching!
Hi it looks fabulous 😂ali walsall west midlands england junction 10 m6 Walsall churckery
Thanks! We were really pleased with that one 👍🏻
How much does something like this would cost roughly ?
Hi thanks for the comment 👍 including the design and planting, about 35k
@@HowWeLandscape would you contact a landscaping company for this or some type of garden designer ?
@@chiwong6138 you could find a local Design and Landscape company or just a designer to do the design. Then they will recommend a contractor. Try Bali registered in your area www.bali.org.uk/members/
How much does it cost?
Not cheap, probably, but they did a beautiful job
Where are you located?
Thanks for the comment we're Herts based
