I’ve had mine for a few years. I love the power. Sometimes I just don’t want to deal with my Sthl gas trimmer.

    Very well done review.
I just ordered one of these and now I feel like I know what to expect when I assemble it and start using it.
From your review and others, I think I've made a good purchase.
    Thanks again!

Thank you. Only complaint I have is it takes a long time to recharge the batteries. It works very well.

I've had it for a couple of months now. So far, I like it. It's very lightweight. I think they recognize females as a big part of their market so making it lightweight is important. Now, is it flimsy? It seems to be solid enough. I run it for about 20 to 25 minutes. I usually have about 20% to 40% of battery left when I'm done - - one or two lights are on when I check the battery level.
The motor is at the very end of the head so there is no shaft turning down the length of the tube so it's simpler than my old gas powered trimmer. The line seems thinner compared to my other gas trimmer but it seems to work just fine. This one has two lines coming out of the head. It easily powers through everything in my yard. There's a manual line release at the head, to feed more line out but I think you only use that when you are putting in a new spool. I haven't had to reload yet. The spools for this one are double, a side for each line coming out of the head. I believe it's 16 feet on each side of the spool for a total of 32 feet of line. Normally, As you operate the trimmer, when you let up on the trigger and then press it again, it automatically advances about a half an inch of line. You'll hear it hit the cutter so you know it's working and advanced some line. I think that's a pretty smart system. I like it.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend or to get another one later. I can't speak to longevity, though.

I just bought the 20v version without knowing that the 40V Worx existed. Lol. I don't mind.
I'm actually going to just buy the 40v one also and that will be the backyard and sideyard weed cutter, and the 20v will be the one to make the front lawn look very trim and tidy with it's less rowdy type of weeds.

Nothing is adjustable on this. I was surprised. It's too long and the bottom isn't adjustable at all

@@JimMcLaren1950 I just bought this one, sadly you cannot use pwr pod batteries
Edited to add: this thing is very good. WG183 40v model. No regrets. Lots of power. If anyone is thinking about it, the only downside is battery life, but it's not even that bad, just wish I had picked up extra batteries (large property, very over grown sections cut. Battery life may be better under more normal circumstances).
