The thing about the game's lfc has lost is that generally they've played ok and created enough chances to win the games. They just haven't converted them. It's a shame Jota was injured. He might have been the difference between losing or winning these games.

@@redshift8302 The selfish Salah is the top big-chances creator in PL this season, higher than De Bruyne, Bruno, and Odegaard. Also he happens to be the most player with assists for LVR this season, and second most in PL. I am not even defending him, he is selfish indeed, but in a very moderate and acceptable way.
A lot of fans out of frustration start saying rebuilding and sell all players and stuff. If you look into the games we do creating chances it is all down to fine margin. The strikers just need to bury the chances and need some lucks we could’ve been at top of table and the whole narrative could’ve been different. After all it is encouraging sign, still thinks the is a successful season.

This team could have accomplished so much this season.. When goals and results were needed no one stepped up. It was like the switch was turned off, everyone underperformed in April. I still can’t understand the number of games they conceded goals early all season, their problems defending set pieces (from last year, really), putting teams away and finishing obvious goal-scoring opportunities. Salah had two goals in eight games in April, both penalties. After the Man U game, they scored only six goals in six games and were shot out in consecutive games at home.. They only won three games out of eight in the “cruelest month” while dominating possession with 62% of better in all those game.. in one word, they were inefficient. Too bad, it could have been a great season.
Halaand and Sterling will also missed this kind of opportunities
In a six-game run against Forest, City, Brighton, Sheff Utd, Man Utd, and Crystal Palace we scored 9 goals from 147 shots. That's a goal for every 16 shots. We absolutely threw the title away.
I feel bad for Nunez because Diaz and Salah missed a rake of chances too and CF isn't his best position. I'd have him on the left wing, with his blistering pace and his lethal shot from distance when he cuts inside.
If only we had won city at home and then utd away, we would've won the league

smh Terrible. So annoying that it really hit all our forwards at once. They'd all been missing chances here and there through out the season but we were getting through games. It was never sustainable and we're seeing the culmination of it all in the run in. Doesn't help that we always concede first too. Slight thing I did notice though, Dom is pretty calm when picking out passes in the. box. Really interested to see how him and the other attackers do next year in a new system.
