lebron eventually went on a stretch of 30 and 20+ point games in his rookie year. Wemby won't do that.
Also he played in the dead ball era with less spacing and a worse system than the Spurs have. Victor has the luxury of a hall of fame coach who knows what he doing as well

Kareem was 7’1 225 and he is a Top 3 player ever, with the most MVP and was the ALL TIME scoring champ not a longtime ago … So if they could dominate, then why not Wemby who is 7’4 230 and more athletic and mobile than both, and also more skilled … The 90’s or 80’s « Physcality » is so overated lol, you had 5’3 136pounds guy like Muggsy Bogues, super unathletic or strong players its just overated the 2000’s was more physical than the 80’s, and Lebron destroyed that era too, even in his rookie season at 18 when hand check was still autorized ..

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Victor Wembanyama is the first player with 100 points and 10 blocks in their first five career games since Shaquille O'Neal in 1992. His 38 points are tied for the 3rd-most in a game by a Spurs rookie all-time. Only David Robinson had reached that mark previously.

Wemby was insane. So enjoyable to watch him and the entire Spurs team play. They play team Basketball like a few years ago. So many assists and ball movement, especially when Vassell isn't on the court. Devin is my favourite Spurs player, but sometimes his tunnell visio annoys the heck out of me.

He can't play inside. He should focus on mid-range, but that's called the worst shot in today's game. He can block shots. But, I'm not sure if he can actually play good defense on centers or power forwards. He can handle the ball, but cannot drive. He can get into the paint versus Jusuf Nurkic, but probably not versus more skilled defenders. He runs the floor well. And, passes well.
The biggest question is his health, and I expect it to be a big problem.
