- I made many many vines when Vine was around, and I can be the first to say there are many many vines I was not proud of! But in this video, we do our best to look at a few and attempt to make them better this time! Please enjoy my friends and I reacting to and attempting to remake these short videos, along with some behind the scenes vlogging of all the ridiculousness that goes into making them!
Thank you SO MUCH to my amazing friends, Joan and Talyn, who not only helped me analyze today's vines and brainstorm new takes on them, they also helped recreate the short videos, edited some of the retakes, edited all the vlogging portions of the video, AND helped create the thumbnail! I never had any problems understanding his vines lol as long as I read the caption I was all set and would laugh so hard. I love how much thought is put into each short video. They pause and think about it a lot after watching it. I never think like that when I watch them, but I guess that's the point. It's for our entertainment, we shouldn't have to think it through too much. I really enjoyed this video. :)

Well, they were good at the time and still seem good to us, but to Thomas, Joan, etc. it's way worse because they've improved and their skills have grown a lot.

I actually kind of prefer the originals? The jokes seemed more cohesive, the pacing was way snappier and the joke didn't drag on until the impact was weakened. It was really fun seeing the process behind it all, however! A lot of work goes into coordinating all of this, it's super dazzling!

The new ones were cinematic and comedic, but yeah, I like the originals better. Part of brief internet humor IS being okay with it only being funny if they get the joke (like most memes). The old ones were very punchy and got the joke out quickly with fun and solid delivery. I think a part of it is also they're in the mindset for making, like, videos now. When you make very short bit comedy, it's more okay for it to be hit-or-miss. Kinda like...The old ones were funnier if they were funny, but the new ones are funnier to the average person?
