God, I can't believe it! Rachel is the very reincarnation of Keith Emerson! Even her improvisations sound like Keith's own creations. I love, from the bottom of my heart, Rachel's reconstructions of ELP's music. Thanks, Rachel!
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends.
There is an INCREDIBLE version of the 1st Impression of Karneval #9.. that she and a great group of musicians do (remotely).. The singer on that is spot on..👍 as well as everyone on it.. Simply AMAZING.. Rachel also plays guitar on that one too..!!!
...Ladies and Gentlemen, Flowers, Lake and Palmer!
Were so glad you could attend come inside come inside!
I was lucky enough to be there that night.
My God, it's an ELP reincarnation, absolutely stunning playing and a fine tribute to the late Keith Emerson. Rock on, Rachael....
Keith in her hands.
Rachel, I pray the world never, never, takes the beauty from either you or your music. Keith would be proud. A brilliant piece. Brilliant.
Outstanding! She plays the music of geniuses like Emerson and Zappa with sincere joy.
Keep giving Rachel exposure, she's is a a massive talent. SHARE SHARE SHARE!
Keith Emerson is looking down and smiling at this. Wicked good!...
He was smiling at the talent this young lady has even before his death. What an incredible musician Rachel Flowers is, she learns everything by ear!
he sure won't be smiling at the bass guitarist. ...nor will Greg Lake.
John Nowakowski . Not sure if Aaron Copland will be looking down and smiling .
@@patgibson9280 Keith was my mentor when I was a little kid at Julliard, I mentioned something about suicide and he slapped me in the face and said never again, This is a slap to God and nature. I have mixed feelings about the way he died. I just had a massive stroke, I had an end game
@@rev.billchampoux6499. Sorry to hear about your stroke . Not sure what you mean in regards to 'a slap to God and nature.' Would Copland be smiling at this arrangement and performance ?
It's poetic in a way that her admiration for Emerson (and Lake's) work has brought attention to her immense talent.
Hopefully she will now be increasingly recognised for her own great compositional talents in addition to her incredible talent as a player.
The first concert I went to at age 16 was ELP - up against the stage. We are SO BLESSED to have Rachael. Thank you
This performance literally brought tears to my eyes. She is freaking awesome
I think Keith and Greg would both be very pleased
I saw ELP 3 TIMES and the shows were always hi energy. The sound sucked of course.
I think Keith would have liked me. Im also a techno nerd and a pilot as well. Greg... I thought he got better with age. Had a gentlemanly look about him as he hit his 50s. I would love to see Rachael Flowers team up with Carl and Ray White to do an ELP tribute tour.
Rachel, Wow, WOW! that is better than fantastic. I thought I was at an Emerson Lake and Palmer concert. I know you make Keith Emerson very proud. And you are keeping ELP music alive! Well done!!!
Rachel is a phenom. She performs ELP, King Crimson and Zappa incredibly well. Her own music is absolutely wonderful. She's a gift to the world.
Joy!
Beautiful work Rachel and band... you never fail to meet and exceed the standards set by ELP. Moreover as Greg Lake once said in a conversation at one of his last concerts attended, they wanted folks to connect through their music, to come together and enjoy and learn about classical music also, and all in the midst of these larger than life arrangements. You did that here for me where I connected with you and the audience to see the music alive in your fingers! Great Job!
Now, all she needs is a spinning piano and an old Hammond to play upside down. She's amazing beyond words.
Truly awesome ! Rachel is a miracle ! Keith must be very happy, on the other dimension, seeing and listening not only to Rachel, but also to his grandson, Ethan Emerson.
She's just fantastic isn't she? So talented. And BTW at time of writing this - 2022 - isn't it great to see Carl Palmer so hale and hearty. The guy's a marvel.
The only word I can think of for Rachel is awesome
Just plain, no-question, honest-to-goodness, OUT-DAMNED-STANDING!!!!!! SUPERB performance Rachel! Keep-on-keepin'-on Sister!!!!
when she smiles, she knows she is doing what few people can do. simply amazing!!!
Being a lifelong ELP fan I have said this many times, and I will keep on saying it, close your eyes and just listen, you would think it was Keith playing those keyboards, Rachel is that good, she has a fabulous talent just like Keith had, he lives on through her.
Thank you Rachel
Indeed! Rachel mastering ELP....Wonderfully done!
I'm back to hear more of this amazing keyboard-est!!!
What a marvelous and talented young woman.
Brings tears to my eyes..its like Keith is playing through her! Unbeleivable talent !
I can’t imagine a more challenging musician to emulate that Keith Emerson. We were so lucky to have him in our lives. Rachel totally gets it, has impeccable meter, digs deep for the excitement in whatever she plays. Superb, Rachel!
I am so moved. I wish that I had a dollar for every minute I spent in the 1970's TRYING to play ELP stuff. Rachel is a total gem! Keith was, is, and always shall be, my keyboard hero. Now...I have Rachel
Rachel, you bring joy to those who really appreciate your effort ! The bus for the "haters" leaves in two minutes ! They can leave , I would like to hear more . Thank You !
She is absolutely amazing. Her playing gives me goosebumps.
Until tonight I was unaware of Rachel. Now I am very aware. What a treasure!
Listening to this gave me goose bumps up and down.. Thank you Rachel!
Another absolutely excellent performance by Rachel and the others . Every time I see her do her magic it amazes me! I’m a subscriber to her channel and I can’t wait for her next cut. Bravo young lady, BRAVO.
Would like to see her play with Carl Palmer.
Carl was there that night, he was selling artwork, sadly he didnt sit in.
@@riceburner32 Well at least he's aware, time is running out though, better hurry up Carl.. hehe..
@@jds9958 Carl should bring Rachel out on tour with the rest of the ELP Legacy. Would be so unreal !!! :O She's super-gifted, and def channelling Keith Emerson.
@@riceburner32 Carl is in la la land and in serious denial of this girls gift. I heard his band and theyre ok but kinda suck compared to what Rachel puts down. God bless! Hi Jeanie!
@@RealDiaz maybe Carl didn't want to overshadow her
Just found her from a comment on a Band Geeks ELP video - glad I did. Wow!
No limit to her talents, brilliant
she plays with such JOY
Always good to see Rachel Flowers perform. Keep it up!
I Keep loving Rachel Flowers thru the years, since i heard from her when she was just a small child to nowaday , she keeps making fantastic music. everytime amazing me with her talent. God bless her, She is an angel. and I am very fortunate to listen to her.
Bless Rachel for keeping ELP alive in my life. Saw them three times in the 70’s and will never forget “There’s no end to my life, no beginning to my death. Death...is..Life,”
Already my favourite version, especially the extemporisation. Keith would approve. Fantastic, Rachel.
Wow tears in my eyes🙄
Today must be my lucky day, this is the 2nd video today that I've seen of her. This and playing guitar and singing with Dwezzil and the Zappa plays Zappa bad performing Montana. I think I'll head out to buy some lottery tickets.
You are really amazing Rachel....please come to New Zealand one day....honestly I will proudly meet you at the airport....You are a gift from God....talent to burn with so much feel and passion.
OMG Rachel that's amazing!!!!!! And excellent job Robert and Leonard!!!
WOW...she is BEYOND amazing!
she is sooo cute when she gets excited!
This is living proof of life after death. Keith is obviously holding Rachel’s hands in his own. Magnificent! Thank you again for posting, Jeannie!
TKE Forever! ...Well, except that Rachel has been brilliant way before Kieths death. But, reincarnation comes on strong when you see young prodigies like this....it’s just too much to comprehend. I get it, I do..
No it's not. I'm living proof otherwise, she is just good, and worked.
I was thinking the same thing. Keith eyes and Rachel’s hands...
That's not only a ridiculous statement, it's demeaning to Rachel who has obviously worked tirelessly to learn these songs and reproduce them with such precision.
I hope you mean this rhetorically, as in, Keith's legacy in music lives on in tributes like this. The performance is Rachel's alone and she nails it.
Music created and performed by a genius.....Now being played live by another GENIUS. Thx for sharing Ms Flowers.
It's not just Rachel's playing that gets me, it's the perfection of sound (pitch/tone etc) that she gets. So many cover and tribute bands simply don't sound as good as the originals we all idolise. If Keith were here today the two could play side by side and you would not know the difference. Outstanding.
I love this girl. Truly Amazing
I think Emerson would be most happy with this :) :) :) Thank you for keeping this alive and well!!!
Emerson, Lake, Palmer and Flowers still sounding solid. Timeless, thank you.
Every time I hear her play, words fail me.
Flowers, Murray & Castillo
I just watched her for the first time and I am amazed it sounded just like Emerson Lake and Palmer it was beautiful very talented young lady
Pure joy! Go, Rachel!!!
Some people it difficult to explain true happiness . I can do it in just two words ....Rachael ....Flowers . Thank you Rachael , Thank you !
Great job Rachel. Music in the 60s was beyond great and it's as if Keith's spirit is with her.
We (me and my band) love this girl !!! Congratulations Jeanie!
Yeah but it's the cheeky smile when she nails a really cool phrase.. amazing every time.
after a difficult day, this is pure pleasure. rock on! love this from scotland :)
Rachel, you ROCK, girl!
She is an amazing player I was lucky enough to have met her at The Keith Emerson Tribute at Birmingham Symphony hall With er mum Jeanie Both very friendly Rachel very quite but she plays just like Keith she is fantastic and Keith got her to try out the new keyboards he trusted her so much fantastic talented young lady.
God blessed Rachel Flowers with a fantastic gift. I'm not talking about her ability to play, I'm talking about her ability to experience pure joy from the playing. I'm a new fan and in awe of her talent.
Just amazing Rachel...... And Jeanie.... i was glued to the tube on this...... Love the enthusiasm!!!!!
Rachel is such a talent, what the world needs more of today!
that's one of the best synthesizer solos i've ever heard
And she did it one handed, while continuing to play the rhythmic bass line with her left hand on the top synth. That's what caught me off guard.
Would love to see Carl Palmer trio with Rachel WoW
Awesome. She is so good I had to watch that twice.
I just buried my oldest brother this January. He really was the one to introduce me to Keith Emerson and ELP. So happened the day before I started a 700 mile drive to attend a funeral that I
700 mile drive for a funeral, Rachel Flowers appeared on my phone playing "Trilogy " never heard of her. And what struck me strange was a female into ELP like that. So now I'm a follower of her, and she blesses my heart to think of my brother and how wonderful she plays
@@rondarnell949 Everything happens for a reason, and that synchronicity you experienced was genuine and meant for you. Love to you and your brother. ❤
@@EgoShredder thank you and I wish you and whoever might be close to you happy Thanksgiving
I just had to mention how beautiful Rachel looks! I LOVE that top Rachel! Oh, and of course you killed it again GF! You are truly amazing! I'm sure Greg and Keith both had a blast watching you this night as well. I can just see them wearing big smiles as they look down and see the amount of joy radiating from you. BEAUTIFUL!
Go Rachel!!! That improv / freestyle was straight out of Keith's top drawer!
I have been a huge fan of ELP for decades and I found you Rachel, a few years ago and I have been following what you do. Thank You. I am a big fan of yours. Loved the collaborations you did.
Aaron and Keith are up there saying to each other, "dayyyyummmmm".
Great coverage for a single-camera shoot, BTW.
Headbanging is Universal even with the blind!
I like how Rachel doesn't hide behind sunglasses; she's beautiful!
Im 64 been Fan of ELP since they started. you do the band justice. Briliant work.
. . . . . LOVE . . . . .
Thanks!
Unreal! She is truly gifted!!!
Just faaking great , Rachel, one cool woman!! Go Rachel GO!!
I see you have constructed a new Fanfare solo. Your skills are complete. Indeed you are powerful, as the Emerson has foreseen.
I could imagine Rachel taking on "Three Fates" and SLAYING IT!
Rachel is a gift from god
WOOOOOOWWWWW !!!!!👏👏👏👏!!!!
Aww .. Goosebumps all over.

She is AMAZING.
Rachel have the Spirit 👏
Much credit to the tech people that are there to help her when she does need help. But great respect that she does so well they are appreciative spectators most of the time. Amazing is not the word.
Thank you Rachel for #1 your amazing talent!
#2 Keeping the music of ELP alive!
Some folks may think this is hyperbole but I think this young lady is a National Treasure.
Rachel has a group???? YES!!!!!! Hot damn I didn't know. Wow!!!!!
this is so beautiful it makes me cry
This should've been in a stadium of tens of thousands!!!!!
Brava Rachel !!! Non la conoscevo. Non è mai troppo tardi...
