Just got to your video on my first wipe, just wanted to add my 2 cents if there is ever another. VHS tape item has a full description of "A VHS video cassette with a 1990s action movie about a killer cyborg from the future" It is, of course, a reference to Terminator, however the Easter Egg is the fact that its not a parody, but straight reference. First translation of Terminator in Soviet Union was dubbed "Killer Cyborg". It was actually dubbed by the same person who translated "Blood and Concrete" copypasta scavs are screaming sometimes, Andrey Gavrilov. He was a big part of a lot of people's childhoods, cause he was one of the only translators who worked with movies and he also voiced all the characters in them, so Soviet Union and later Russia even had a name for movies like that, "odnogolosye", meaning "single voice" movies.

This is all really cool, can’t wait for more tarkov lore to come out!
tell the fuhrer we miss him(joke ofc)
@@teodorocki I don’t know of a fuhrer but I know of a Keiser. Hope that never changes
@@teodorocki wrong germany lol
Get de spei.
No, no, ei'm an amerikan.
@@teodorocki Wrong flag buddy
Is this a re-upload? We have the SCAR
Pretty sure it's their other "useless facts" videos compiled into one
you were almost correct on the P90 mag. "This will be transparent later" is a reference to you can tell when the mag is empty because it is see through. You can see how full it is with a quick glance. It basically means, "this will be mag dumped"
Nah, he was correct. They want to make it see-through later
Always coming in hot with the great content!
2:48 "how fallout can reach your house"
Usually while held at gunpoint by Todd Howard
Sick video!
YES! I want to see more of that kind of video.
The wooden signs at the gas stations is also a reference to The Walking Dead's pilot episode where Rick goes to a gas station and finds a sign that says "No gas" or "No fuel" or something like that.
the "damn...i'm fucked" sounds so real when you step on the thumbtacks lmao
Good job!
In reference to the pronunciation of “Glukhar”, the “kh” is often used to try and represent the Russian letter “х” which sounds like an H from the back of your throat. It’s not “Glookar”, it’s more like “Gluhharr”, the H almost sounding as if you’re trying to mimic a cat hissing.
Love your videos man. I bet at wipe your channel will blow up
Just got to your video on my first wipe, just wanted to add my 2 cents if there is ever another.
The new lab background in Tarkov has writing on the camera "BigBrother" This is a reference to the both the leader and one of the main idea's of the book that you are always being watched. The book is 1984 wrote in 1949 about how the future would become an extremely authoritarian world with no secretes, opposing ideas/ideologies, etc.. I didn't notice this easter egg since pretty recently.
I guess the 1986 on the factory structures could be a reference to Chernobyl but most factories (specifically the smokestacks) had the date when the factory was commissioned on them. In eastern Germany I’ve seen one that was painted 1958.
When i walked into the room with the dino, camera and green screen i was thinking of battlefield funny.
Tom Hardy being the photo for Charisma is a fine example of how realistic the game can be lol.
26:38 this is a reference to the absurdly built toilet rooms for the Olympians when the olympics was in Sochi, Russia. This was a real room and wasn't the worst either lol
to fill in a bit of lore. when you mentioned the nuclear researchers on labs. Its theorized that terragroup was trying to make a giant nuke .
Nice video, never noticed the Batman on Reserve
I picked up one of those AFAKs not long ago, it’s pretty inclusive but I would recommend adding some quick clot and Israeli bandages
I've gotten those FLIR SV-98s a few times since I got 6.0 scav Kharma, I also spawn with a labs access card every other raid, sometimes back to back..
it’d be awesome if you got to go to labs as a raider scav at 6.0 karma. i feel like that would be a real incentive for people to grind scavs more often
21:44 would be cool, if they added radiation suits from the backrooms haha
At the Old Sawmill on Woods the building that you put in your video called "4-7", sometimes you can hear in main menu OST the voiceline "Полсотни первый, ваша цель 3-2"(Pol sotni perviy, vasha tsel' tri-dva) it is the second building on this spot, that references to Contract Wars of course
I played that browser game for about 2500 hours and i remember that Tarkov in 2013 was "Russia 2028"
I remeber posting on reddit about the band names in customs way back in the day, was a nice Easter egg to stumble upon
13:46 okay, that's hilariously petty, i love it
The "Contract Wars" barn isnt just a refference...that entire area is straight FROM CW
Can’t forget the dark souls reference on the beach of lighthouse with the pole sticking out of the fire
Can't believe Forty One actually stepped on thumbtacks to express pain naturally. Chad
they should make it so that sanitar carries a bonesaw as a melee that u can loot and use aswell
thanks for a cool watch.. had seen a bunch of these and some of them are obvious.. but alot of them aren't after watching this :D cheers bud
great video
Looks to me that notes on computers say R2026 not 2028.
Which means: Release in 2026 :-)
26:41 two toilets facing each other, might be reference to scandals in Sochi Olympic town, it was built with such haste that these kinda hilarious mistakes were left due to lack of time, it even made into the news back then😂
This was ace, watching it whilst playing interchange! ;)
Actually hoping you'll be able to unlock permanent clothing for your SCAV with higher karma, similar to how you buy them for the PMC via Ragman. Maybe if you reach 6.0 karma you could buy Shturman's Coat for your Scav.
"I got a bad feeling about this" I thought that was a call back to tropic thunder 🤣😊
Wow BSG has taken all the references in my brain and added em to Tarkov. Love these guys!
Regarding the lube named after FireClean, the art work for the item is of an actual gun lube brand known for high performance by the name of Slip 2000.
23:00 "No fuel" is a refrence to The Walking Dead s1 ep1 where Rick Goes to a gas station and the wooden sign reads "No Gas"
bruh
@@egor9603 look at it side by side
@@HK416.A5 idc. It's just a sign, it doesn't have to be a reference
@@egor9603 it is just compare them side by side
Numbers such as 1986 usually refer to the year of construction. They did so in Soviet Union for some reason.
Ah cool, I got that rare SV98/FLIR Combo on my scav a couple weeks ago.
Actually Gluhar translates as capercaillie, which is a bird thats actually deaf during certain period of time, but also his name could be reference to a russian tv show named Gluhar about cops.
Another awesome video Jeff!!! Keep up the good work!!! Glad to see the channel is growing. You make good refreshing content and deserve the exposure! Also I have a video on my YT page of an even crazier scav loadout I got besides the FLIR. Spawned with a bastion, korund, 2 main weapons including a meta mp155 shotty with a supressor, F5 backpack and some rare spawn items in my backpack. It was insane and my scav rep was negative so IDK why. Anyways cheers!
With reference to 'Blyat Man', FairTx made a Tarkov series where 'Blyat Man' would go out into the Tarkov world and spit on his enemies, it could be in reference to that. Uncertain whether that item was there before or after he made the series, might be worth looking into!
I'm having chills by watching this wow!
The bear in the car might be a reference to the game ‘Enviro-Bear 2010’ where you play as a bear driving a sedan around eating fish and avoiding crashing.
No it’s a Russian anecdote where a bear travels then forest , he sees a car on fire and sits in it
I always thought that the USEC looked like Travis Fimmel thanks for confirming that.
I love the constant nods and tributes the devs pay to other games. It's such a nice mark of respect.
Yes. I want part 2
4:35 text is saying “Waiting for those who are not waiting
Worthless caller” pretty sure makes fun of all these services which are actually useless
Dont know if it was mentioned before but on Lighthouse where the 2 cabins on the seaside are located there is a fireplace which highly looks like a fireplace in darksouls.
thanks jager thanks to you i got a slick on the first day of the wipe in a bucket
Thanks now i know that Peacekeeper is canonically Heisenberg with the quest items you give him
