In many tutorials I've seen, they use frequency separation to remove moles or small pimples. Here we have a master who goes beyond the basic technique. I didn't mean to offend anyone ;)

The tattoos because he was removing them. No worries, my bad. And yeah, like pimples and moles shouldn't be removed either but yeah to learn this as to be able to edit photos of other things is great.

I was watching this for entertainment purposes, but I also wanted to commend you on a job well done. I was wondering if you were going to resolve the smooth skin result on the neck and you did! It was going to bug me if you didn't. It's not completely flawless, but I would be nitpicking at that point. Photoshop and the entire CS has really made it easier for the consumer over the years with the use of AI and tools which in something like CS5, you'd have to do it manually. At times, it's just easier to go the old school way because the one-click tool doesn't always work.

It doesn’t matter in this case because the color layer is already blurred, and it averages the nearby colors anyway.
