Thanks for the nice words. Yes, unfortunately hand made guitars are a lot of work and so are not inexpensive. Not just another Strat or Les Paul though... Cheers
@@bardguitars This kind of work deserves to get paid accordingly. Apart from the craftsmanship, I'll repeat myself about the overall design of your guitars: wow! All guitar designers try to give a unique look to their creations, with various results. Yours is beautiful, seeing this balanced curve of the body near the neck and the delicious headstock. I wish you the best and hope you get all the orders you can handle and more!
I agree with the others who complimented you on the outline shape of these guitars. I think you really nailed that, it's beautiful and very nicely proportioned.
Its tough to do an original shape that doesn't look like everthing else and at the same time has the appeal of the classics... thats the holy grail! As others have said... amazing design.
That's a beauty! Perfectly proportioned and very classy. An excellent glimpse of the many hours it must have taken to build this work of Art... (I have to add also, that Johnny A is a wonderful choice for the background music!)
Excellent work, Phil! The attention to detail and passion in quality really stands out. Long live Cado Parish! I saw you guys play at the '93 W&M Class Reunion and it was amazing.
The routes for the guitar begin as SSS but after it's painted it's HH. Also initially the body is rounded, but after it's painted it's got binding on the edge. Seems like a tale of 2 guitars.
@@manekhemandas I use nitrocellulose lacquer on all of my guitars. Standard spray procedure, 12 coats of clear over the color, which is generally done with hand rubbed water based dyes. Then wet sanding to 1200 grit and buff out. 😀
When this video appeared on my feed I literally stopped working just to see more. What a fine design! I wish I could afford such a beauty. Kudos.

@@noother964 Thanks again, getting something that is somewhat unique was my goal, not easy in the current world, there are so many designs out there.
Damn that is a gorgeous body shape you've designed. Well done mate!
Thank you, I dig it too!
excellent work and video..thank you
That is a great shape.
Damm fine.
The shape is beautiful. Perfect. So pure and beautiful

Appreciate the comment. Yes, tough not to look like everyone else and have something appealing that isn't weird or spiky. Cheers...
Красивая работа! Творческих успехов!
Спасибо!

Thanks! Yeah, Johnny A....
So simple, so elegant!
They look and play amazing! Thanks for coming up to the Seattle area for the guitar show a while back.
Always a fun show, and thanks for the comments!
very cool shape. a little rickenbacker-esque almost.
Excellent work, Phil! The attention to detail and passion in quality really stands out. Long live Cado Parish! I saw you guys play at the '93 W&M Class Reunion and it was amazing.
Hi Reid, thanks for the comments. Yeah, 30 years ago now. Wow...
Those are both so dope! Absolutely gorgeous. Cheers for sharing.
All I can say is: “Wow!” 👏💙
Nice looking guitar..

Awesome job: well done !

Yeah, not meant to be a step by step of any one build, admittedly a little confusing. Just made to show the various steps involved...
@@bardguitars The HH is a nice looking guitar. I would love to see how you achieved the finish on the body.

The body has a Rickenbacker 325 look to it in a way. I like it.
Yes, I like the sweep behind the neck on Ricky's
Very nice!
Всю жизнь мою звучи гитара❤
I would buy this as a kit !
I like the humbucker version.
Thats a sexy looking guitar sir . Well done
Thanks!
Lovely...but prefer the burl top
You may give some lessons to PRS. For headstock design especially. Those guitars look equally good as dual humbacker and as three single coils.
Yeah, their headstocks look to me like something out of Mordor. Har...
Nice work, but slightly confusing skipping around to different builds.
I like the shape, kind of a Ricky Leo Paul vibe.
Not so much meant to be a how-to vid as to show parts of the process. Thanks for the comments.
@Bard Guitars not meant as a criticism really, just an observation.
Long time builder here.
Perfect offset with humbuckers's! Need any help!?
Thanks, I'm all set in the shop. Cheers!
That kinda ended weird.
Can't talk? No idea how to explain your process? I give the video a thumbs down for no narration.
