I always noticed my soccer-playing friends tended to toss the ball in the air. To me it always seemed such a logical thing to make sure the ball made contact in the right position. I guess it's just not so obvious if the ball has always been spherical. As an old-schooler I always practised the spiral on either foot. The intention was never to use the outside of my boot (slice), but the laces. I'd always hold the ball in the right hand with my little finger and thumb on the downward facing seam, and drop it as close to the foot as poss.

Not hate ! But the way that you punt kick is good but if you tweak the way you kick it could be better. When guiding the ball to your foot, if the point of contact with the ball is closer to the floor your kick will go further. All because the prime of force of your foot is closer to the ground

Professional level 50-60 but for every players day I’d say 30-40 is great
