I have same gun 6.75# with vx6 3-18, had a lot of extractor marks for the first 100 rounds of eldx factory ammo, did the break in like they said to. Ended up loading 180 eldm 2850 getting 3 bullet in one hole type of groups with 66gr h1000 and h4831sc. Loaded to bullet ogive 2.565” 180eldm Also on the factory eldx if you seat them at this length they shot way better.
Thanks a bunch, factory precision hunter was exactly 1moa for 3 rounds on my first 5 out of the gun. But the brass was ejecting into the turret, so I got that sorted last night, and lapped the barrel with JBs. I am pretty disappointed in how gritty the action is. If I did it over I'd build off a Tikka action, and still might. I appreciate the load info. I plan on trying the 195 berger for my ringer and the badlands 150 for meat.
@@hedgeapplehomestead2816 How did you cure the brass hitting the turret? Taller rings? A friend has that issue with a Browning X-bolt in 30 Nosler. Long turrets on scopes...grrr.
Good info & detail. I have a 6.5 PRC ridgeline w/a vx5 3x15x56,20 MOA rail & vortex rings that hit the scale @ 8.4lbs with the factory m.b. & 8.2 with the thread protector & 3 rnds in it. I’ve been itching to get a seekins ph2 but can’t find the 7 PRC in it & not sure I want to spend that much on a element.
@@hedgeapplehomestead2816 for $200-300 more you wouldn’t get the element instead? I have the AG alpine stock on my ridgeline which is the stock that comes on the waypoint.
2980 out of both my.7prc....31 groups out of 175 h.. 26 inch barell. 7 inch can.. great out to .mile

@@madman432000 I moved it back quite a bit, but I'll probably have to get medium rings. It's way better but not perfect.
@@hedgeapplehomestead2816 mess around with bullet seating depth on those factory eldx I got them to shoot 1/2 moa

I'm hoping for the waypoint in 7prc
