  • This is a guided sharpeners Raffle for a 210x70 Jende Leather Strop second with choice of Jende MAX concentration Poly Diamond Emulsion. There will be TWO winners. The strops are actually in perfect condition except the trimming of the edges is a little wonky on both. It is completely an aesthetic issue only, and will not hinder the strop in any way. Max Poly Emulsions grits are 15, 12, 8, 4, 2, 1, 0.5, 0.25, and 0.10 micron.

Hi i only found out about you recently and was really impressed with the quality of your product (0.1nm and nanostrop) so much so that i just ordered the 0.025 mn plus trop and i was wondering why your products aren’t featured anywhere i couldn’t find a single good video that was comparing your product to more known stuff like the dmt 0.5nm spary or 1nm paste or something so is there a reason that i am unaware of ?

Hello c: I have a question you might be able to answer for me, would greatly appreciate any input.
I am handsharpening my kitchen knifes on Naniwa super stones from 1k, 2k, 5k up to 12k grit and then stropping on a Jende Roo strop as of now.
Recently I have stumbled upon your stropping emulsions and was wondering if I can straight go from the 12k Naniwa to 0,25 micron stropping emulsion or maybe even finer to get an even more refined edge on my knifes or if I should first strop with maybe 0,5 emulsion so that the jump in grit isn't as high.
Also 7ml should be enough to fill the Roo strop multiple times right?
    Thank you in advance :)

Thanks for asking! after the 12K superstone, you have two avenues of stropping to choose from. First is to continue in a step by step progression, which imparts a more "true grit" edge. The other is to jump to the 0.5 or 0.25, which "polishes the grooves" of the 12K. Either way is fine at this level since you already have your mirror. I usually will hit the 12K then jump to 0.25 or finer as my final stropping grit with the Jende nanocloth strop, then finish on clean roo. But it is totally OK to use the roo with the emulsion.
As for 7ml, that size is meant more for a 1x6 or 1x4 sized strop. Once you hit the 2x6 or 210x70, you want to get the 25ml. 7ml will cover the roo at least once or twice, though.
