Yes Zeynep's cruel mother chose her a monster for her husband. Zeynep's dad was the very same thing and her mother sacrificed all her children for him. There's nothing about Zeynep and Medhi yo admire or be enthralled with, the series should serve as an eye opener for us women especially if we know of spousal abuse happening anywhere.
I agree with your opinion in part. Zeyneps mother was an abuser of her children. She manipulated Zeynep oi the point of making her feel guilty. Regarding Mehdi. His older sister raised him and psychologically manipulated him. Mehdi believed what she said and didn't realize the control she had over him. Muga abused Zeynep every chance she got. Domestic violence is real and this story is based on a true story. Mehdi never learned how to control his temper and he did love zeynep. Mehdi inflicted psychological abuse towards Zeyneo but Zeynep, knowing the signs knew when to get out of that house and marriage.. Even though mehdi was obsessively in love with Zeynep, I think him dying to save her and his daughter in Episode 37 was psychologically devastating for Zeynep because of the expression he had on his face when he died. I respect your opinion of this series but the women in both Zeynep and Mehdis lives were just as guilty as their abusers. They could not break the cycle they were in so it continued. Violence against women and children is serious and advocacy is very important.

Mehdi was all man but stuck. He never hit zeynep or his sisters ever. He was labeled a monster because of his anger and obsessed love for zeynep.
