- This is a complete playthrough of the Arcade version of Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. It is also known as Super Puzzle Fighter 2 X (スーパーパズルファイターII X) in Japan.
I play with the hidden character Dan Hibiki (火引 弾), at the hardest difficulty setting.
Note that Devilot is controlled by the CPU despite the "new challenger" screen (she appears if the player does things). - Hry

I guess that the Dan hibikis stategy is provoque a huge countergem, but with enoug space for put the detonants and other gems, is a suicidal strategy, but if you are good at this game, May can work
8:50 - literally my favorite intermission demo in this entire game. It even has an additional in-joke specifically for this playthrough, since the match that had just ended was Dan vs. Hsien-ko, and the latter lost.

@@ritadecassiabaptistadossan4084 colocate sobre morrigan mantiene presionado start y presiona abajo trece veces y cuando termine apretás el botón de elegir y te saldrá dan o devilot si terminas el comando y llegas cuando el tiempo esté en 10 , se tiene que hacer el comando antes de que sea 10 o si no te saldrá devilot

No, that's Hsien-Ko's sister
It actually is possible, It's an easter egg. You simply have to highlight Hsien-Ko, hold either left or right shoulder button and select her. That should trigger the easter egg and the character should pop up in the match. I'm not sure if it works on other versions, but it works on the HD mix version on playstation.

does it really have any difference with the use of different character or just your own preference?
The attack patterns make a huge difference. Since Dan, for example, can only send red gems to your opponent's playfield, it's extremely easy for them to counterattack you. Of course this doesn't apply if you can OHKO your opponent, but still, certain attack patterns are more effective than others for casual gameplay.
@@nineko I haven't played in a while so I could be wrong, but I think Dan also drops more garbage gems than the other characters to make up for the fact that they're all red.

When you choose a character you can see a grid where it says counter gem that is the pattern of gems that will be sent to the opponent when you break gems

Not sure you are building the gems the way do because it's AI but if you build like this with a decent player, who knows what they are doing, you'd get killed quick. You shouldn't build in the middle build on the side. The side can go as high as it want with out losing however in the middle is where you die.
Being able to complete using Dan on the hardest hard level without losing a match already shows OP's skills. Needless to say, when playing against a human opponent, all good players know they cannot play the way they play against computer.

How do I make him challenge me Devilot?
You have to play well, I don't remember the exact requirements, but you have to create big gems, make long chain reactions, and win a round in less than a minute

In order to fight Devilot, you must meet several requirements
All these requirements must be met before the 7th battle
1. You must make a Gem power of 20 or higher
2. Make a chain of 4 or higher
3. Finish a round in 59 seconds or less time
4. Perform an epic victory (win with an additional 30 gems on the opponent's counter)
5. Last but least important, you must not lose the game, or else you will not be able to challenge it (it should be noted that you can lose a round or two, even the type of game you have assigned, but the whole game, no)

I completely forgot, to be honest, something like pressing down 14 times according to gamefaqs.

Don't know where else to put this, but fuck it.
I heard that akuma's purpose in life was to become the ultimate fighter or become the world's greatest failure. When I watch videos like this I'm convinced that the only way he would be the world's greatest failure is if he SOMEHOW lost a fight to Dan fucking Habiki. Just imagine that! The most well known and fearsome fighting game character suddenly being beat by the character that is literally the Punching bag of the series!!!
Dan and Ryu have the worst attack pattern.

Type "spf2t.zip" in Google, but beware, some of the results might have annoying advertising.
Then, you use that file with an emulator, I recommend Final Burn Alpha.

@@nineko downloaded the zip file and FBA, what do i load from the zip file to launch the game
Put the zip file in the roms folder as it is (do not extract it), then run fba and scan for existing games.
