We haven’t taken it on the James we are about to spend 10 days on it in Florida though and I’ll definitely let you know more on what we think after that. So far she’s been great in the bay on nice days.
Not really we were pretty set on the 23 from the get go, we have intentions of buying a bigger offshore boat down the line some day. We absolutely love it though and would highly recommend it as an affordable versatile boat.
We still love the skiff it’s super versatile. We do intend to buy a bigger v hull some time years down the road for offshore but until then we’re pretty happy with this boat no complaints whatsoever
I got the same boat this year! Love it. Had it all over the Chesapeake, FL keys. Over 100 hours on it so far.
That’s awesome we will definitely be taking to the Keys as soon as possible! Hopefully out on the Chesapeake this weekend.

Don’t like the look of a 25 reminds me of a long bed truck, and the 21 was just too small for our family of 6.

How’s the ride been in the bay on average days with boat traffic. I realize it’ll pound a little bit is it bearable
We’re down in Texas now, but we tend to only take it out on nicer days, 2s or less and 2s can be a bumpy ride heading off shore.
