a masterpiece 🤍 as a queer girly who had a “best friend” like rachel growing up, ilysm and thank you for this
Calling it now -- song of the '22 summer, edging out "Daytona Sand." The plaintive, melancholy vocal, the big chords, the gentler strumming -- and the POWER CHORD ENDING for the win.
already have them memorized
Such a pretty video. I love your storytelling
Crazy how I saw you in concert three years ago yesterday and now you’re making music for your 4th album!❤️
Rachel wya?? Do you still think of her as your first kiss?? Let us know
Ok well how did she know my life story ahaha
thank you for everything Lucy, please live a long safe happy life
love this lucy!
this song hurts me sm its making me grieve all my failed girl friendships i made when i was younger ughhhhh
Songwriting and poetic playful lyrics finally seem to be returning to music. Really captured a moment in time. Instant classic!
I always think of the Buzzcocks’ “Love You More” when this song plays, maybe because of the distorted guitars, fast (for Dacus) tempo and song brevity (“Love You More” made the UK Top 20 with a run time of 1:47, one of the shortest songs to get into the UK charts). What do you think? (PS: It’d be cool if Lucy covered “LYM” but that’s just me…)
Ahhh so underrated 😭
Omg this resonates so much cuz I had my technically first kiss at 13 via a kissing lesson!!! I don’t count it as my first tho :)
Love this
I. Love. Lucy!
