I love that Colin took over for the journalists - who apparently didn't have to ask much - and asked Michael a question and share what he's excited to learn from a fan perspective. He's such an awesome and interesting man. And a very gifted actor.

there is so much to say about this. first off, rude of that lady to move the water bottle in the middle of their interview, second, LOVE how he says "goodies" to describe Emma David and Snow, third, I LOVE that they end up spiraling off and talking about the show in a logical way, as though they are picking it apart just like the viewers. I love this show and the cast.

On that beanstalk climb, Hook saw Emma for who she really was: as a Lost Girl. 3rd season shows that he forgot his insight about her right away, but you've got to admit that's touching. Maybe I'll ship Neal/Emma AFTER they've worked through... issues. It takes more than "love and destiny" to erase teen pregnancy, getting set up for incarceration, conspiracy, and getting engaged to somebody else who kidnapped their son. If Hook and Neal swapped actors, my "Swanfire do not want" would be the same.
the hook and emma relationship would basically be a rebound if it were to happen if you think about it. but I'm 100% sure that Neal and Emma are endgame no matter what happens in between
The only reason people ship captain swan is because they think that Hook is hot. Not once have I ever seen a valid reason to ship it and everyone's reason is that they're "meant to be" or "they're perfect for each other". Those aren't valid reasons. I ship Swanfire because Neal was the first person to make Emma feel loved and not alone. He left her so she could realize her destiny, not because he didn't love her.

They understand each other in a very fundamental way, they are both lonely and broken people who can save each other. They are very similar people that keep each other balanced, and he doesn't try to make decision for her. It had nothing to do with Hook being hot; it's all about pure chemistry between the characters.
